stole money
I ordered the healthmaster and paid in full. I decided to return it after hearing about motors smoking so I called within 24hrs. of placing the order to cancel. They said just reject it when it gets there. So I did not accept delivery of the product and they refunded me 199.96. (The total cost I paid was 229.95) I called to have the shipping refunded. They said okay. Instead of refunding the 29.99, they charged my acct. another 29.99. So now they have 59.98 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. I tried to call again and they gave me a run around saying they refunded the whole 229.95! They said they needed proof that they charged me. My bank faxed proof, but then they said they couldn't link my banks faxes with the debit card I used and they wanted proof that it was the same acct. I spent 3 hrs. on the phone. My bank set numerous faxes and spent 1 hr. on the phone. We spoke with 4 cs reps and 2 supervisors. Now they say they may refund it tomorrow if the paperwork checks out. By now I dont want them messing with the acct. at all. After all, last time they said they were refunding- they debited. they will not refund it any other way if they refund it at all. So do I take the chance if I get the chance for a refund? Will they refund my acct the 59.98 or will this cycle start over with a 120.00 error? Do not do business with this company! I am going to cancel my debit card tomorrow to make sure they cannot make any other unauthorized withdrawals!

No Response via Customer Service
After one month, healthmaster stopped working. Called customer service, they said they'd mail me a postage paid return label, one week later still waiting. Looks as though this company has a record for this.

WARNING: Save your $300.00 and DO NOT BUY a HEALTHMASTER.

BURNT OUT
I have purchased this healthmaster with great anticipation after a month or two hardly using it, it started changing speeds by itself, smoking then burnt out. i authorized a $29.00 charge to my credit card for shipping, in order to receive a replacement base, I have invested quite a lot of money for this appliance and still have not received it since Oct 29, 2009 original date customer service said they would sent it!! I keep checking the status which changes every time to a later date! Now it always says 2-3 weeks. This sounds like it will be going on forever. I want money back! After now reading other complaints i don"t think that they can make this product that will work! Very dissasitisfied,
Upset with myself for being, fooled!! A big spending consumer, Bev. V hope something can be done to stop them from further instances!
