the carrier that won the bid for the price we agreed on dispatched a carrier that was a sub leasee to point of pick up then realized the golf cart was to large for him to transport pictures were there to view so it was clear it was not a single seat cart it was a three seat cart limo model after that montway called me and needed an additional 100.00 dollars it finally arrived after about 4 days later to find the batteries had all been bounced out of there boxes and i am out an additional 800.

It's really amazing how sometimes people act... The only thing we did wrong is that we've misquoted the Golf cart, because we thought it's a single Golf cart - NOT Limo, but we've disclosed that to the customer immediately after bid acceptance and he was totally fine to move on, so we did transport the cart without any troubles. Our trucking service has nothing to do with batteries and if they work or not. Of course there is a normal vibration by transporting a vehicle!

Car was damaged in Shipping no one wanted to take responsibility for the damages, the trucking companies insurance refused to pay for the damage $5000 Poor communication from the trucking company. All in all I would not use this companies services again.

That is correct - the car was damaged by the subcontracted driver from D J Y Auto Transport Inc! We do understand that the customer is frustrated, but Montway Auto Transport did assist the customer every step of the way to pursue a legal action against D J Y Auto Transport Inc. We did file a Cargo claim with the Insurance company and it seems that the Insurance company declined the claim with some ridiculous reason, so we've advised member "LegendaryLars" to file a legal suit!

Everybody has its own opinion and we'll accept the negative rating, but how can you rate someone for poor communication and poor service, when Montway Auto Transport was in constant communication day and night with him!! This customer wasn't present at pick-up nor delivery, so we were constantly with him on the phone, kept in touch with emails and Instant messaging regarding updates etc. The vehicle was picked up and delivered with NO damage! So, decide for yourself if this rating is justified.

The vehicle arrived on time but had damage. The auction who sold the car claims the car was intact. When it arrived, the rear bumper was missing. The driver claims the bumper was not intact upon pick-up. All I know is that I'm the one who has to pay the price for repairs.

All I can say here is that we're tired from people buying SALVAGED cars from Copart and IAAI that are completely destroyed and then try to express their frustration why the car is not what they HOPE to be. Just ask yourself --> Do we need a bumper from an old damaged Toyota? NO - we DON'T - We're NOT a garbage collectors, we're a transporter and what COPART auction loaded on our car hauler this is what you get. Montway Auto Transport did a GREAT job delivering the car OVERNIGHT! Excellent JOB!!

Montway is not the shipper. They simply subcontract the job to another company and keep some of the money. Once they have their cut of it, they couldn't care less. Initially, they had written down the wrong phone number and then blamed me for not being able to reach me prior to shipment. They had me deal with the actual shipper instead of dealing through them. I could have gotten the job done for $300 less had I gone straight to the shipper rather than Montway. I'd say, thumbs down on these guys

Montway Auto Transport is NUMBER ONE (1) shipper, car hauler and transportation broker on Uship.com! Everything is posted on our profile including our Carrier and Broker Licenses! This customer and its review are absolutely not justified. This individual is arranging transport between 2 other parties, provided wrong phone numbers and finally when Montway warned him several times that the vehicle must be empty of personal belongings we've discovered a fully loaded car and this is against the law!

These people do not ship the cars on their own and rather contract to others. Before accpting the bid I chcked their website, BBB and whatnot. It all looked positive. Unfortunately postive image stops there and horrible reality starts. A chain is as strong as its weakest link. The real carrier (TonyHoltz Trucking) did not allow me inspect the car and demanded the money at once. When I showed the scratches he did not show me the paprwrk to cross chck and almost hit me, very angry man. Stay away!

My car was delivered late at night. The driver insisted the marks I saw on the car would wash off. The car had been scratched from front to back. The shipper said I had no claim as I had signed for the shipment without noting damage on receipt. I am now stuck paying 500-600 dollars to fix the damage. Make sure to carefully inspect shipment before signing. Never accept deliveries late at night when damage can be concealed.

Shipper: angeli999 is a repeat customer of Montway Auto Transport ( see his profile ). I don't know why he would rate is negative here and especially with this ridiculous reason!?!? This is a 1986 Toyota (25 years old car), that he acquired from somebody in WA, so the condition of the car is unknown for him. Also Montway is NOT responsible for any mechanical problems. We don't provide any DOT inspection or driving test and the shipper did agreed with that which is stated in our terms&conditions.

was told by driver that car had a broken hydraulic hose and that the fluid leaked out on one of the cars and I was thinking to myself why didnt he just put car on the bottom level insead of the top tilted up with rear of vehicle facing down. This caused the fluid in the hydraulic tank to leak out and it was not a broken hose because we checked it out and filled tank with fluid and sett car at normal height and has been 5 days with car still at same height. also Left front tire was punctured.

Probably is disappointing for the customer for what he described above, but the TRUTH is that Montway Auto Transport is not responsible for any of that and I'll explain why! This is a classic car and it's a LOW Rider, so this car MUST be transported in an enclosed trailer not OPEN. Customer insisted on OPEN just to save money!On a long distance move like this one we use stingers 10 car haulers and they have to tilt the vehicles to accommodate a full load and if the car leaks it's not our fault!

I can't stop to wonder how each person is different after all the feedbacks posted on our profile...Everybody can click on the shipment listing to notice that there is no other bid beside ours. Also take a look where Wolcott, CO is and considering the winter time and weather/road conditions at this time we did a GREAT job. Also we don't guarantee delivery/pick-up on any particular schedule. What can I say here ... This shipper is a total abuser and LIAR !!! First of all this vehicle ( as everybody can see on your listing ) is from COPART - that means this is a salvaged vehicle!!! He is claiming here about some damages on a salvaged vehicle from COPART!?! Are you kidding me ? Also we don't guarantee pick-up and deliveries on any particular schedule!!! What do you expect for $300.00 ? Overnight VIP delivery? Call Fedex pay $1000.00 and then you can complain if they don't deliver.

Shipper tried to muscle me into giving him the payment code before shipment was delivered. Threatened to take my car to some place else unless I did. Wasted hours of my time.

This feedback is a perfect example of ABUSING the uship feedback system!Our company participates in the SafePay program with Uship and we specifically told the customer that he MUST provide the uship payment code after pick-up and he agreed. After we picked up the car he refused to give the code as promised, however we delivered the car with no questions and as promised quick and efficient! As a result of the Uship payment program we've received a negative rating from this ABUSER and LIAR!!!
