I placed an internet order on Oct. 2., I thought family owned company, close to home, great. I then realized company said costume was back ordered on order confirmation, so I looked elsewhere, and found it for $30 less, in stock, so I ordered. I then sent email almost immediately canceling my order from Moon Costumes, they replied and said they would immediately cancel my order. Within 2 days, my CC was billed and they shipped. I emailed back and said order was canceled and shipping was against my wishes. they said they thought I was just canceling costume, but wanted the 4 accessories, so they shipped them, along with costume they found out was in stock after all. I said no, I canceled, they said "well then, write 'refused' on package and we will refund your money." I immediately sent it back, waited three weeks, nothing. I tried to call, they weren't answering the phone. I finally said I would file a complaint and PayPal claim, they had stolen $92.00 from me. No email response, so I called and finally they answered, and said I sent email and they were working on it. That night they refunded $62.00, plus it cost me $2.35 in PayPal fees. After all I went through, they made me pay shipping PLUS a 15% "restock" fee. I emailed and said this was poor customer service, they had been untruthful about canceling the order, and this was not right. They refused to respond. Truly the wost, most unprofessional, and frankly dishonest company I have dealt with, and would never do business with these people again.
