My wife and I got married at this resort. We came back after recommending the resort to my wife's sister to have her wedding. The wedding was on the 11th of June and all was well until the following monday. There was no power on the resort from 9 am until 4 pm. The services we paid for were not available and nobody compensated us for anything. Nobody communicated to us what the problem was or when the problem was resolved. I asked to speak with the hotel manager and all member services did was look at me and smile. They allowed me to speak to the manager of member services but all he could do was say "I understand your frustration." This seemed to be the generic answer for any issues we experienced.
There were also ants in our room which the hotel suggested they come in and spray our room with Raid but this wasn't an option because we were travelling with our 13 month old son. Even if we weren't why would someone want to come to a room that smells like RAID!!!
After talking with hotel guests during the electricity outtage this apparently happens every Monday to do maintenance. You'd think a resort the size of moon palace would have their own electrical plant or PA system to let their guests know what is going on. I will NEVER recommend this place to any friiends or visiit another palace resorts property ever again.
