MOR Marketing Research Reviews

SCAM!!
I too heard the advertisment on the radio about $1000 in free groceries and figured it had to be too good to be true. I asked several very pointed questions about how they could give away $1000 free and what was the catch. The $19.70 didn't seem like a bad deal for free groceries and the explanation I got sounded very reasonable. After giving my credit card number the person told me that I was going to receive the card and it would also enable me to access the coupon program. In the middle of the conversation, I decided that I no longer wanted the order and I told the customer representative " Patrick Johnson" that I would like to cancel it. He then became irate and told me that "I needed to provide him with an intelligent answer as to why I would like to cancel". When I told "Patrick" that I do not feel as if I had to dignify my decision he told me that " I did not have an intelligent answer and that I should just be quiet and listen to what the heck he has to say." I reiterated to him that I would just like to cancel the order and he started to raise his voice and explain to me that "if I had just shut up in the first place that I would have heard that he was already in the process of cancelling my order". After ending the conversation with "Patrick" I checked my credit card account online and there was a charge of 9.90 on my credit card account. The rudeness that I had to deal with after being conned into something that I should have known was too good to be true is aggravating. If they had been honest in what they were offering I more than likely would have still agreed to participate, because it does seem like it could be a very beneficial program for those looking to save money and it takes away the time and effort of having to clip coupons myself. The fact that they were sneaky & dishonest in presenting their service makes me feel like they are intentionally trying to con or scam the American people.

SCAM
I too heard the advertisment on the radio about $1000 in free groceries and figured it had to be too good to be true. I asked several very pointed questions about how they could give away $1000 free and what was the catch. The $23.60 didn't seem like a bad deal for free groceries and the explanation I got sounded very reasonable. After giving my credit card number the person told me that I was going to receive the card and it would also enable me to access the coupon program. After getting off the phone I did some research online and found several complaints about this company. I then tried contacting the number that they guy gave me and I was told it was an invalid number. I did find another number that I was able to contact someone at and when I again explained my concerns that it was a scam I was told that it was all on the up and up and I had a whole year to use my $1000 and that companies provide this $1000 to be able to monitor what consumers are buying to then use their advertising dollars to promote those products. I was never told that it was coupons and the only mention of coupons in the entire conversation was when he ran it together fast enough to sound like that was a bonus I was getting in addition to the $1000 card. After never receiving the card I was told I would get (nor the 2 free $25 walmart gift cards) and only receving the "coupon card" I again contacted the company and was told that they would not play my recorded conversation for me and when I asked to speak with a supervisor "Joey" was extremely rude and asked why I would need to speak with a supervisor and I told him I never heard them say it was coupons and I was led to believe it was actual money to buy groceries. After several minutes of insisting, he finally brought up part of the conversation and I again heard that I would receive the card and access to the coupon program, but Joey insisted that they were saying I would receive the card "to get" access to the coupon program. I again asked to speak with a supervisor. "Don" who was also extremely rude and Joey both refused to let me hear the parts of the converstaion where I asked very pointed questions and the misleading anwers that I received. I asked to be removed from their program and my credit card credited back for the charges. Don would never say that it would be credited he kept telling me "you're out!!" I also asked for the names and numbers of the companies that I was enrolled in the programs for and I was told that he would NOT help me and that I would have to wait to receive the information in the mail. The fact that they were sneaky & dishonest in presenting their service makes me feel like they are intentionally trying to con or scam us. The complete lack of customer service and the fact that they were so quick to be rude and unhelpful tells me that I am not the first person to realize they have been conned.
