I was not able to make a couple months payments on a home I own in a different state because the renters moved out and since still no renters. I am not able to pay rent where I live and pay the mortgage because the renters paid my mortgage for years.
After speaking with Morequity and letting them know of my situation, the reps got more and more aggressive every time they called me and I told them that I was in the same situation as before when I last talked to them about the payments.
The reps started asking, what I feel, were more personal questions rather than professional. They asked me to call friends and family to borrow money, pull out 401K, investments, etc...
And then today, 25Jan2011, I called Morequity to find out who my loan with them was being sold to. As the agent looked at the account, she started the same conversation as the other reps did, warning me about forclosure (the house is being short-sale by the way), ect, the same stuff I heard before and I tell them the same thing. Then the rep ask me why I can't make a payment, and I tell her that I cannot pay my rent here in CA and pay a mortgage at the same time. Then she says then why did you buy a house if you knew you were going to move (Im in the military, we (in general) buy houses and move all the time, it doesn't always work out. At that point, she was totally NOT being professional, so I told her BYE and hung up. This is a shady company, no wonder why they are selling their loans to another bank!
