I received a call this morning under a different number claiming that I did not pay back a cash advance and that I would be sued. The number they called from was: (619) 367-2910 and the guy gave me two different names. I never actually received a cash advance but did inquire about rates and options which requires offering personal information. This will certainly be the LAST time I ever inquire online and offer personal information to check out my options.
The person suggested that my attorney needed to call which was a way to frighten and intimidate - it did not work! These folks will say most anything to scare you into submission! Watch out and get strong with them. The person I spoke to ultimately (thanks to the phone number listed on the previous complaint : - )) ) took my phone number and found that there was no longer a record for me. After spending two hours on this I think I finally accomplished getting my information removed from their database. We will see... DO NOT LET UP ON THESE PEOPLE! They must have been given a database of inquirers as well as other people and the way they sort it out is to put you through HELL. Don't let them!!! I do not get money illegally by any means nor do I write bad checks.

An individual named justin calling 12/7/2010 from morgan and associates claiming I owed money to a payday loan company. I asked him to provide documents. Kept pressing him that I could not speak intelligently about this matter without a referance. He kept talking, in a foregion accent, claiming significant leagal action if "he downloaded my file". He clearly has some personal information of mine. I assume its stolen. I told him I would get back to him that day. Afterwords I immediately called my bank to put my account on hold. Scammers and the holidays really sucks

I have been getting phone calls at my work from this company. I had a payday loan and ended up having to file bankruptcy 5 years ago. This was one of the companys on the bankruptcy that was executed. 5 years later these people that I can't even understand are calling me at work. My work is sick of the phone calls because we are a hospital pharmacy and they are disrupting work which is a danger for the patients. They won't stop calling even after we were instructed by the hospitals legal department to transfer the call to them. They instructed them to not call my work place. They still continue to call. One of the technicians that I work with went off on them and told them to stop calling and to not call back until they could speak english. LOL That was priceless...what they are doing is illegal. He kept saying so you aren't going to pay this. I said NO...if it was discharged on my backruptcy, which it was, then I don't owe it. I am trying to contact them now to have them send me something in writing which they never want to do. I filed complaints with the FBI who has been investigating this scam according to an ABC story that was done. They provided lots of information on who to contact to help in the process. Anything that I can do to take care of these scammers and avoid them from getting me fired, I will definitely do! They are rude and apparently not of the highest intelligence!
