In 09 i refinanced my house for a lower interest rate. On my third payment to Wells Fargo I noticed that there was an added charge of $39.74 for what is called "Optional Products / Accidental Death Insurance" on further investigation I discoverd that on September 13, 2006 a telemarketer had pruportedly called and sold me this policy and it was put on my old loan, they then with out my authorization put it on my new loan. I found the company that sold the policy works closely with Wells Fargo Bank . I do not remember the phone call from the telemarketer, and would never buy a policy sight unseen, and an insurance policy that is twice the going rate, under any curcumstance. Besides it is not comprehensive enough, it does not include "Health". I have an unlisted phone no. and I am on the Federal "Donotcall Regestry" as of July i, 2003.I was not sent a policy to study or sign, and had no idea who this company was. At first Wells Fargo denied any ties. Now i find that it is Wells Fargo Bank who is defending the policy. Why didn't i notice this to begin with? SHAME ON ME, I thought it was just part of the loan. It wasen't untill the refinancing that i caought it. And since i never received a document to sign or a policy to study, it got by me. The last letter i received from Wells Fargo, a rep writes that she had listend to the audio recording and says that it is a "Good Sale'. So this is how America does buisness. I am enraged.
