I paid a few thousand dollars to have legal backing while negotitating my mortgage payment and hired and paid Rodis. It has been 4 months and now paperwork has been sent from my mortgage company to a lawyer for foreclosure. jjt was to put hold on foreclosure and as of 5/6, there is no hold. The hold was to go to my mortgage company 2 weeks ago.
My mortgage company still has not heard from anyone at Rodis and they are the ones filing for foreclosure. Jjt says she has filed financial with Fannie May but still no contact with my Mortgage servicer.
For 2 weeks now, I have sent an email and left several messages for jjt to call me but nothing. I left a message for her supervisor to call me and nothing.
Jjt was also going to contact foreclosure lawyer so he would be aware that I had obtained their services, then she was going to call me to let me know. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing.
When I hired them, I was told I would be updated regularly. Nothing.
I was also told that they would fight for me to get my payments lowered to the best of their ability. I don't know that a lawyer has actually seen my file.
Where is the hold on the forclosure? Is my file being looked at regularly? Are they recieving the paperwork I get from my mortgage company? They won't answer my calls to find out.
I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to wait to resolve this as it could mean the loss of my home.
