I have been to Key Pinetown to have my rear brakes replaced in march 2010. The drums were skimmed and new linings were put in. But i have been having a problem ever since, Apparently Key Pinetown uses a sub contracting company called Brakewell to repare and replace braking systems on all vehicles sent to them. My problem is that there is a distinctivly loud noise and whining sound that could wake up the dead caused by the 'new' brakes that were put in. It also doesn't break evenly, i can feel the brakes hold and release, and shudder under braking, it is definitely the rear thats a problem as i have tried pulling up the handbrake while driving just to make sure. This is a recurring problem on not one but two of my vehicles, both are an opel corsa utility 1.4 2007 model
i have contacted key pinetown several times regarding this, sent my vehicles in approximately 10 times between the two, but they keep sending it back to brakewell, and after a week or so the same problem comes up, i have contacted Mike Bronskil service manager and he too has done nothing, Kept promising me that they will look into it and call me back but nothing has been done.
The service is pathetic. Even from the Workshop Supervisor(Ricky) and upper Management. They haven't even returned my calls. What can be done to solve my problem.
Thank you
