In April 2007 MoTex Investments agreed to take over the payments of a house my husband and I owned. They were to also rent it out which they did. During the next 2 years we have noticed that most of the payments were done late or were never done. In November 2008 I had noticed the payments were not done for quite some time so I tried calling Kathleen. Of course, like most of the complaints that I have read, we did not get anything from Kathleen. In December my husband and I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. On April 4, 2009 we received a letter from their lawyer in Cameron, MO stating they needed to cancel the agreement they had with us due to the economy and the tenants were behind in payments. This left us with $5800+ in unpaid mortgage and 2 years of the Missouri taxes that are paid yearly. My husband and I did talk to the tenants to find out they were not behind in their payments. Right now the house is in foreclosure and due to be sold on June 12th. Therefore for the next 2-7 years my husband and I will have a foreclosure on our credit reports due to MoTex.

Kevin and Kathleen's new business venture is to fix people's credits. Watch out for this one. They are asking for $750.00 per person to clean up your credit and if their company cannot clean it up, they claim the company will pay $10, 000.00 Guess where our money was going!!

We lived in Missouri and had planned to settle there. However, my husband was called back to Active Duty. Because of the military and traveling, we contracted with this company, Kathleen Fenton and Kevin Creed, to manage the house we lived in. They are one of those companies that "buy ugly houses"--and offer people those rent to own deals. We just received word from our bank, that Kathleen and Kevin have NOT made a payment on our house since December. They have been collecting rent checks, but not paying the mortgage!!! So, now, we are behind on our payments, and are having to come up with $3000 to keep our credit good and payments current.

We have left numerous messages with them, and of course, they are not contacting us. I am going to contact the BBB and my husband is going to see a lawyer tomorrow to possibly file a suit for $3000. This has been a blow to us...and my husband is due to deploy in less than 60 days. This was not a headache we needed...
