I bought a vehicle from this company on Tuesday, 6/7/11. When I got the vehicle home, I noticed the front end was making a lot of noise and sounded like something was broken. I took it to a mechanic and they told me the vehicle was sold to me in "unsafe driving conditions". I called Motormax and talked to Tyler. I told him about it and also explained that I was not happy with the service from the salesman (Jamal). Tyler said he was the owner then proceeded to use profanity with me and told me "Don't throw my fucking salesman under the bus when he has been her for 10 years and I don't give a shit if you are happy with the vehicle or not, you bought it". I proceeded to try and explain that the salesman was 15 minutes late and made me late for work, the car was filthy inside (after he told me the day before it was cleaned out and ready to go), and the gas tank was completely empty. Now I have a vehicle that is unsafe to drive and live 45 minutes away from the dealership. I feel that this dealership has treated me with the utmost unprofessionalism and sold me a vehicle that was not safe to drive. Tyler should not be allowed to do business in the state of Michigan. I would like a full investigation into this dealership and expect them to be held accountable for any expenses I may occur to get the vehicle in driving condition.
