I went to the store on Sunday January 2, 2011 to replace my mobile phone through the replacement service agreement that I previously bought. After having to stand there waiting while the clerk was on the phone with them, I find out that I have to wait for an email to get a gift card to replace my phone! I think this is the most ridiculious way of conducting business. It would be like going to Wal-mart for a refund and them taking your item, you have to wait for an email then go back to the store to get what you need done!! So I gave them my phone on Wednesday January 5th, 2011, being told that it would be sent out and the email would be there for with-in 4-24 hours, it is now Friday January 7th, and there is still no email. I called the store yesterday and the lady I talked to lied to me and told me that it was shipped and scanned that Wensday, I called the service plan 800 number myself they said no that it wasnt done till Thursday, this morning still nothing so I called again, now Im being told by tonight or in the morning at the latest! I would like to know if Radio Shack is going to refund me also the money that I am paying on a daily basis for a phone I dont have in possession, and the gas that its costing me to run back and forth. Get your act together and take care of your customers in the store, instead of giving them the run around!! I can assure you that I will not EVER buy from there again and when I get this phone I will take it to another provider to purchase a service plan.
