I was working with a school bus company upstate NY, (Baumann&son buses Inc.) During the summer of 2006 we were on a summer break from work I decided to visit my obgyn doctor she ordered two test to be done one a mamagram and an ultra sound to be done. The mamagram was done first as they could not do both on the same date, at an imaging center in westchester I went ahead and made an appointment for September 2, 2006 as there were no more dates available. This procedure was done. Prior to doing this I had filled out applications at several school bus company to find another job in October I received a letter from the imaging facility that my employer informed them that I was not employed with them anymore and that I was terminated on August 31, 2006. I went to the bus yard in August to do my run pick also to do my refresher course some of which I still did not received payment for until this day. I called the union up and spoke to a representative the matter was almost resolved but when I called LongIsland they told the I would need to submit my hours which I did.

They told me there is no record that I did work, and that my supervisor Lawarence said I quit so they refuse to pay my medical.I took almost one year before they sent me a check for some of my hours and the refresher course that I did. I requested a meeting with the union rep.and the lawyer for the company. I was told that a certified mail was sent to me for continuation of coverage through cobra in September, but I received no mail. I was provided with fax copies from from LongIsland several days later with a signature, this was clearly not my handwriting, so I went ahead and contacted the delivery supervisor from the Mt.vernon post office at 15 S first in mt vernon, she told me she would look into the matter for me I contacted her several days later she told me the mail man admitted to signing my name to the envelope and put int in my mail box.

The only time I saw the information contained in the letter is when I attended a meeting with the union rep. and the lawyer in may of 2007. Just to inform you I was hired at Mamaroneck union free sch.district on September 5th 2006, also Lawarence the supervisor told the union rep. that technically she was at work but because she leave the company when they needed me most and he is going to screw me up so the won't pay my medical. I have all paper work in case they needed proof. I called LongIsland several time to speak to Lisa in the human resources but she hang-up the phone on me in October of 2006 they refuse to talk to me and because of this my credit is reflecting a bad report...the bill was over $500 dollars but then I received another on from the collecting agency for $271.00 I don't know why I submitted all the documents to the post office since Feburary but it was returned and again in March still no answer, please help and I don't know where to go its been almost two years.
