In June 2010, I brought my car into this facility for a relatively small job. Another driver gave me a bad scuff on my passenger side rear door. My car was at Mountain View for a week. They work closely with a rental car company, so when you come to pick up your car, you just drop the rental vehicle off right at the autobody shop. I parked the rental, and began walking towards the facility office. I saw my car sitting there waiting for me. For whatever reason, I took out my iphone, and snapped a picture. Good thing I did. I didn't notice it immediately, but it turns out, my March 2011 inspection sticker WAS GONE! Once I discovered this, I called the facility immediately! The owner brought up pictures of my car on his computer while we were on the phone, and ADMITTED to me right there that he can see the sticker in the photos taken when my car was brought in! Despite that, he says he doesn't have thieves working for him, and he can't even imagine what could've become of my sticker. I filed a police report, and a report with the Better Business Bureau. Of course, NOTHING came of this. I just hope whomever is riding around with my sticker that doesn't match their registration, gets caught...
