Just a warning out to everyone, its not really a scam, but the "techniques" being used to advertise this website, is a little "dubious" in nature but for a "credible" looking website, it may cause the wary internet surfer some grief.
Many are reporting that they are seeing messages in the form of "pop-ups" or official looking windows that display saying that they will be charged $XX.xx amount (varies from $14.95 to $24.95). How they'd do that unless you've been to their website, is one for you to figure out, but the messages are pretty damn deceptive and can make someone think that they are going to be charged something they did not buy or agree to.
A simple adware/spyware removal program will curb the "advertisements" but this is a cause for concern because of the growing number of complaints I've seen thus far.
So, please, if you do see these messages, make sure you are running the latest version of your virus scan/protection program and adware programs.
Contacting movieland.com is a hassle, so its just best to put them into bit-bucket.
