Fraud
Please DO NOT use this company! I am sorry I did not read the complaints prior to hiring them. They are exactly as others post, they are thieves /FRAUDS, they give a low quote ($350.- 3 men @$70. per hr.). Our move was 3 rms from 1st floor to a 6 mile move to another ground floor. Only cash deals!! Upon arrival they tell you it will cost $1050.00..Three times the quote! No reason why? I was told pay or they take my goods. I did not have the $$, so I paid $550., they threw my stuff off the truck & broke some pieces. These bastards should be in jail! Please don't use them!

theft
a family member hired 2 men and a truck to move them. come to find out a box was stolen. this box did contain high priced items. rumor has it that these men have done this over and over in the past. unfortunately we found out the hard way. one of the men i believe was fired, but the other is still employed there.

i would strongly recomment NOT hiring this company!!!

Never picked up the job
I scheduled a move with this company from New Orleans to Chicago two months in advance. I was told they were on the BBB and spoke with a friendly representative several times to figure out the details of the move. On the day they were scheduled to pick up my belongings, they called the hour of the pickup time and said their truck broke down. A few hours later they said their driver was in the hospital. Two big problems in one day, so they could not pick up my things. I told them I had to get on a plane later that day to move myself to Chicago so I needed it as soon as possible. The mover proceeded to yell and curse at me. He said he would no long complete the job (which I'm sure he never had any intent to complete in the first place). The following day I spoke with someone in the office who said they would take care of the move and make sure it happened. That day they called me at the last minute (again) and stated they would not do the move at all. This company is horrible. I never receieved my downpayment back. It is the most unprofessional company I have ever spoken with.

Scam
This is a moving scam. Do not hire unless yo wish to be ripped off. I hired them to move my household from OR to WI. After picking up my stuff, they promptly doubled to cost from our contract. They would not deliver until receiving their ransom and would not take credit cards for the consumer protection they offer. After 32 days a third party in a rented Penske truck delivered our stuff, in full violation of the contract. They outright lied when we complained to the BBB. This company needs to be put out of business.

bad company
This moving company stole from us $3, 600 and we did not get our moving furniture after one year ago and that was because we had to pay another moving company to ship our furniture to us. The owner Anibal Gonsalez would not return our phone calls. Plus he stoled alot of our things i cant believe that he is still there working and doing the same things to other people!!! Even after all the complains no one has put a stop on him and we never got our money back!!!

Theft Report
Robert Leitgeb approached me to move some furniture from Punta Gorda, FL to Hermosa Beach, CA. His opening line was a larger moving company that I had called for a quote had given him my name because the load was too small for them to handle. He presented himself to be reputable saying he had made many moves to various cities in California. My first warning should have been when he indicated that I didn't have to pay sales tax. He said the larger moving companies were only "ripping" me off. He picked up my furniture late on April 16, shrinked wrapped it, took my check and I haven't seen or heard from him since. Ten days later, I tried to call to see what the estimated date of delivery would be and by that time he had already disconnected his phone number. As I'm researching his name, I find that he has had 11 moving companies and has scammed many people just like me.

DO NOT HIRE, MOVE IMPROVE RELOCATIONS, CROSS AMERICA RELOCATIONS, TEXAS HOME MOVERS
On 06-11-2009; I signed a contract entering into agreement to hire a company named Move Improve Relocations for my move from Houston, TX to Neptune, NJ. The company packed and took my belongings on June 11th with an understanding and assurance that they deliver my furniture to my apartment in Neptune on June 18th. I was also told that my car will be picked up by the same company at my door in Houston and will be delivered on June 18th at my door in NJ. The company arrived 2 hours late for the move, and they didn’t pick up the car. We were told that they forgot we also had a car to be moved and we need to drive our car to their office 40 miles away. We met their demands, and met the “manager” at the weighting station 40 miles away from our home. We were told his name is Tom, which we found out later was false. They weighted our stuff with three people in the truck and the weight was over our estimated weight, at that point they demanded more money. They told us that when the truck was weighed earlier, it had the three people in it. Although I was told by the sales representative, David, that they will weigh the truck empty with no one in it. They took our car and we agreed on $3000.00 fee complete with taxes and the payment for the car. We paid $1500.00 on June 11th on the master card.
One week later, on June 18th, the agreed upon date for deliver, we had not heard from the company. On that date, I contacted the sales department, my numerous phone calls and emails were never returned. When I finally got in touch with David, our sales representative, he told me our furniture will be leaving Houston on that day, Friday the 19th, one day after the promised delivery. I was offered no explanations from the owner Tom or manager Rick. I was told to deal with it. The owner also used foul language, hung up on me a few times and threatened that I will sleep on the floor if I attempt to contact the office one more time or if I attempt to contact BBB. These conversations continued over the following week. The company never offered any explanation to why the delivery is late or to whereabouts of our shipment. The car was finally delivered on Monday June 22. I received a call from a different company telling me the car was in Jersey City, 2 hours drive from our Neptune apartment. When I attempted to contact Move Improve, they told me that that’s “sounds like it is my problem, ” and they will not try to solve it. I was met again with angry tones, threats, and foul language. At this point, I spoke with the car company, Roche Auto Transport, and they arranged for the driver to drive my car to the door. When the driver arrived at our apartment, he told me that I needed to pay $500.00 in check and drive him back to his trailer 30 miles away. I drove the driver back to his trailer and paid him with a check. At that point I was told by Move Improve Relocations and Roche Auto Company that Move Improve Relocations will take the $500.00 out of my remaining balance of $1500.00.
Our furniture was finally delivered on June 29th, 11 days after the promised date. The shipment was missing our king size bed part of a $5000.00 bedroom set purchased from Fingers Furniture 1.5 years earlier. I was told that it is still in storage in Houston and will be delivered with the next shipment leaving Houston that day. I was forced to pay in full with a Money order from a post office; otherwise they refuse to release my shipment, which I had no choice but to go along with. I was also charged $1700 as a remaining balance with no explanation for the extra charges. “It is what it is, deal with it, ” was what I was told every time. Our furniture was also damaged and we had lots of broken china. I was told by David to take a picture of the damaged shipment and email them to him. As I am writing this letter on August 7th, I have not been able to contact Move-Improve Relocations or the parent company Cross America, who has received our $1500.00 via master card either via phone or email. I contacted Texas Consumer Complaint Center at UH Law School, but every time they attempt to get some explanation of whereabouts of my bed, they and also I, receive the runabouts. The man in charge, Tom, gives us phony explanations which he contradicts himself two days later. I have not received my bed nor have I been contacted by the company via email or phone. At this moment, I believe that the company has lost my bed, and does not want to deal with our claim. I am putting in a formal complaint with you concerning both companies mentioned above. I am also requesting arbitration in the amount of $5000.00 for missing bed, damaged furniture, and china. I also like to get my bed back if the company can locate it. It is important for me to mention and for you to understand that I am not complaining about the late shipment. I am complaining about the way the company behaved towards me which I believe it to be cruel and unprofessional. I was also told so many lies, which have caused me to lose faith in every moving company there is. I am a professional and educated woman. I understand what my contract says and that things happen that cause delay in shipment. However, what I have trouble understanding is that Move Improve Relocations Owner and management failed to provide me with accurate information about the whereabouts of my belongings, even after they have been paid in full. I also believe that the company forcing me to pay only in cash or Money order specifically from the post office and not delivering my bed was done with a sole purpose of keeping me from making formal complaint against them. I find this extremely unprofessional, and will be disappointed if their actions go unnoticed from your association. I have also had to stay home from work 10 days more than planned time, to meet the movers. Therefore, I have lost even more money in lost wages.

Do Not Hire these companies... they had never given us a straight answer regarding the whereabouts of our shipment... or missing items... or even why the delivery was late... no answer, not even excuses... just "deal with it, " it will get there, when it gets there." Everyone who answers the phone yells and introduces themselves as the owner... EVEN AFTER THEY GOT PAID IN FULL...

Destructive, vindictive
First of all, these people did not inform me they only take cash until they already started moving stuff. My bad for not asking. I had never had a problem with a mover before, was polite to them and bought them cold drinks because it was a hot day. They tracked grease on the rug and didn't care when I pointed it out. On arrival, they bitched there was no tip and rushed me into giving them the cash. They left the building's door wide open to the world. They had lost some handmade cushions that admittedly weren't packed properly (were on stackable rattan chairs). I believe they intentionally destroyed these things. I say that because they were very rough with things generally, very careless, and also managed to spread strange glue on several boxes. Luckily none got on the new rug. They vandalized my stuff, basically. The company did not respond to me or the BBB complaint that followed. This was spring of 2008. The one man kept dark glasses on the whole time, and was probably high, in hindsight. The other seemed brain damaged. I believe they were ex-cons or future criminals.

They are in the middle of ripping us off
I filled out a form on a reputable web site, I thought, in search of the best deal for hiring a moving company to move my fiance'e and I from Ca to Florida and was contacted by many moving companys but went with the one that offered the best deal.. They are Best Local Relocation Inc. otherwise, I now konw, MTF Relocation Inc. They had quoted me a flat rate of $812.00 over the phone and sent me a non binding contract with the request of a deposit of $100. After I had spoke with a relocation specialist named Brian several times and felt pretty good about the offer I went ahead and did it. All seemed well. A very dear friend of my Fiance'e was in a horrific accident and died then revived and is in a body halo due to injuries at the time we had scheduled to move so I rescheduled the move until further notice and the moving company was very accepting with it and offered many condolences.. I ended up having to reschedule a second time due to our friend not doing well.. He is better now but will be in the hospital for at least 6 months and may not walk again... By the time we in fact met the scheduled time for the movers they showed up 4 hours late, in a rental truck and rushed through the move very fast.. they ate food of ours when we werent around as well as soft drinks we had in the fridge. One of them was innapropriately looking at my fiancee, staring at her breast, constantly and made her VERY uncomfortable.. The loaded things I asked them not to and didn't load things I asked them to.. I asked for their professional opinion as to what the weight seemed to be... He said he's been doing it for many years and can probably guarantee, but said don't quote him, 2500lbs give or take.. Well just after that he slapped me with an extra $400 cash request for the packing materials that they had to use on our things, mind you we had our own that they wouldn't use, even though the relocation speacialist Bryan guaranteed me that I would have no hidden charges whatsoever unless I went over in my quoted rate for 1500lbs. we argued back and forth and I only ended up paying him the amount quoted originally minus the final payment apon delivery... Two days went by and I received a call from them stating that our things weighed in at 4600lbs and we have an outstanding balance of $3600 and in order to have our things shipped we must overnight $2000 right away otherwise cancel and still be required to pay %70 of the $3600 in order to get our things back. Yup, thats how it went... 2 tons, no way, , , little to no furniture was loaded.. it was mostly plastic bins filled with clothes and keepsakes . a small bookshelf, vanity and chest... one tv and tv stand... that's it.. Now we are currently stuck in california, out of money to get home or to get our things back and our landlord is evicting us... We are freaking out and NEED HELP!!! What do we do??

Bait & Switch/Damage of Belongings
Anyone that knows Kelley, knows the story as she was so upset with the bait and switch tactics, the amount of damage done to her furniture and belongings by Transport Network Mgmt and Jefferson Quijano, 12211 Deer Track Loop, Spring Hill, FL 34610, PO Box 1057, New Port Richey, Fl 34652 813-466-7727/727-459-2975. Damage done to a $10, 000 bedroom set, watched them drop the headboard of the $4, 000 bedroom set, the sides torn off the $3, 000 pool table, The surface scratched off the $1700 oak dining table along with the finish ruined on the legs of the table from them using packing tape to hold them together. She could not believe that when she came back from throwing trash out that there were 4 boys sent by the moving company (2 in their 20's, no more than 135 pounds each along with 2- 17 year old boys trying to roll a 1000 pound pool table down her front entry on 4 pieces of 2x4 with wheels in each corner as their dolly. Luckily 4 of Kelley’s neighbors and friends were there to stop the pool table from falling over on the boys. The closing on the home Kelley was to move into did not take place in July as planned but instead in December and to no surprise more damage was found when the storage unit was unloaded and boxes unpacked. Kelley made the unprofessional dealings with Transport Network Mgmt and Jefferson Quijano aware to the whole Keller Williams office and everyone she knows so they too would not use this company. The office has had clients that have experienced the same bait and switch tactics. From what I recall, Kelley had already rented a U-Haul truck and had 6 professional athletes coming to move her furniture at a cost of $440 dollars, she was only going to have to pay for the truck, gas and some meals for these guys as a favor to her. The Thursday before the weekend she was to move she got onto the internet to get mover quotes. The first out of three movers to call was Jefferson and she told him she was moving "3727sf home, 5 bed/3 bath/3 car garage and a pool table that would need to be broken down and moved from Land O Lakes to Kissimmee" Jefferson quoted "$680". Kelley asked "how many storage spaces will I need so I can reserve space", Jefferson "2- 20x20 will do it." Kelley " Are you sure that’s enough space to hold all of it?" "Do you want to come out first and see everything we will be moving" Jefferson, "I've been doing this 13 years”. Then Kelley had two other movers call and they said with it being Thursday and moving on Saturday that they would not be able to make it out for the quote and for that size home they said they would not quote anything over the phone that they need to come in person and do an inventory then provide a price and said if some is quoting $680 over the phone make sure they don't hold your furniture hostage that is sounds like a bait and switch set up and to be careful. Even the man she reserved space with at the storage units told her she would more than likely need 3-20x20 units depending on how they unload the truck/s. The boys were neither experienced nor strong enough to pack the storage units correctly (resulting in more damage).Kelley called a friend in Kissimmee to help them unload. The movers were so far off on the size truck they brought that office furniture and other things had to be donated, plus drop off stuff at another location in Tampa just to be able to get the rest to Kissimmee in one trip and they had to get another truck!! IMPROPER PLANNING ON THE PART OF JEFFERSON. EVEN THE FOREMAN THAT SHOWED UP FOR THE JOB SAID HE NEVER QUOTES ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE IF IT’S LARGER THAN A ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT AND SAID "IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME JEFFERSON HAS DONE THIS”. Once everything was unloaded the foreman hands Kelley a bill for $3264 a far cry from $680, a quote that was off by $2584 plus $18, 750 of furniture damaged along with many other breakable items from the boys throwing boxes into the storage units and improperly stacking breakable items. American Express calls Kelley to question attempted charges of $2414, $850 and $2000 and advised Kelley not to pay the movers and not contact them, that American Expresses legal department will handle it. American Express put it under dispute and attempted contact with Transport Network Mgmt and they did not respond so American Express issued credits and closed the investigation. Kelley was going to met with Jefferson in person but was sick and lost her voice for 3 days and had sent a couple of text messages for Jefferson plus had her son read a note to him telling him she would not be there for the meeting. Then after all the vulgar language and verbal abuse that Jefferson was using on the phone while Kelley’s voice was gone and could not respond because of the strain on the throat and the treatment toward the receptionist at Keller Williams she texted him to inform him that when she does meet with him it will be with a Sherriff present. Anyone that knows Kelley or has ever done business with her knows how she conducts herself and the statements Jefferson has made are not accurate. If someone gave you a quote of $680 then tried to charge you $3264 after damaging appx $20, 000 of your belongings that you worked hard for over the past 14 years what would you do? And then on top of that tries to slander your name and take from you again by trying to affect your business income. Does it seem fair that a representative of a company can first attempt to rip you off, and then damage the items you have worked hard for, and then try to slander your name and attempt to ruin your business? Again I ask what steps as a victimized customer would you take at this point?
