On arrival at Moyo Zoo Lake last night, i was flabagasted when the door lady proceeded to 'greet' me with 'yes'?i politely replied that i had a reservation and proceeded to our table where we waited 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken.The table we sat at had a heater right above me as as it was a lovely warm evening, myself and my guests REPEATEDY asked for the heater to be switched off(might i mention that all the surrounding tables had there heaters off).We were rudely told that our heater cannot be turned off as it was the only source of light for the surrounding tables, but they will call the manager nontheless.It took the manager 30 mins to finally appear after more requests to speak to him, and state 'the heaters cant be switched off'. NO good evening, NOTHING! eventually our request was granted. The atmosphere was completely different to the Moyo in Merose Arch( where i have gone on numerous occasion) and had a fantastic time. the staff were unfriendly and plain rude.We didnt stay for dinner, as we were not prepared to pay high prices and recieve poor service.I am extermely disappointed. I could have got better service from mac donalds and atleast the smiles r free.
