We were the 3rd of 3 homes built in our subdivision before the builder went under. Our 8-10 month build time stretched to 18 months and we still had to fight to close at that time. Though they did not file for bankruptcy, we were told that they would provide labor for our warranty, but we would have to pay costs out of pocket. They did a couple things, but we had to contact the contractors directly and only the tile company and the HVAC company worked with us. We have electrical issues that have not been resolved, among other smaller issues and our one-year warranty has expired. They have not returned ANY phones for the past 2 months. One of the other two home owners has not had any warranty work honored, and they closed one year before us. They plan to get back into home building when the economy gets better. Stay away!!
