Scam, Ripped Off
I was contacted by a man named Tony 718-878-7957 asking if I wanted to fill a prescription for weight loss medication. He said it was like Phentermine 37.5 but stronger. I am trying to lose weight so I said yes. He took my information and said it would be delivered by FedEx COD. $389.00. I was a bit reluctant because of the price but figured what the heck, maybe it would work since nothing else did. The meds did not come so he gave me the customer service number to call 407-574-6453. They assured me the package would come. I picked it up at Fedex and gave them my money order. When I opened the package it was not what I paid for. No prescription bottle, label, dosage, nothing. I tried calling Tony but someone said he was not working. I kept trying to call again but the voice machine came on every time. I called the customer service number and they said they would check and call me back. No call, I called again and again and got voice machine from that line as well. When I called from a different phone they answered. At this point he told me they were not responsible for the screw up and I had to call Tony. Needless to say, I have yet to get ahold of anyone at either number so I am now out $389.00. I would love to prosecute these bastards. I did some checking online and was able to pinpoint where the calls originated from. 718 area is Flushing, New York (Queens) and the 407 area is Orlando, FL. Any help?
