I have read countless complaints in various places of people being signed up automatically to some shopper's club after making a purchase. I have no doubt there was some box somewhere that had to be checked, or unchecked, or whatever. The ease of which they get people to sign up totally unaware is a good indication of how slimy they are. I am fairly careful what I sign and I had no idea I signed up for this.

What's worse, I discovered their initial charge immediately, and battled until my membership was cancelled and the initial fee reversed, or at least that was what was said. They went ahead and charged me again this month, and now I have to start all over again. I hope enough people will finger these jackasses so they are at least shut down, if not prosecuted for fraud.
