July 9 2008 at about 5:13 pm I had experience extremely rude and offensive treatment from the store manager and owner Eduardo Vasallo Sr at MrV Auto located at 342-362 Centre St Jamaica Plain, MA 02130
I basically walked into the store to simply make a purchased on a defective product (Nology Hotwires) that was purchased and returned by me 6yrs ago. The product was exchanged for yrs ago and is no longer operative/working condition. I proceeded to explain to the owner that I purchased this a long time ago and was only looking for 2 of the wires and possibly purchase the entire defective kit if need be.
I felt completely humiliated as the store was filled with customers and the presence of others employees as he started to raise his voice. I was forced to be watched by others as he yelled at me and said " I brought nothing but problems to the store all the time and that I always wanted to buy everything cheaper" I was astound at his behavior due to the fact for the last eight yrs I have contributed nothing but a good loyal friendship and provided a hand and service through harsh times when they needed. He (owner) did not go into trouble by asking me what I wanted or needed with the defective ignition wires instead he just jumped into a conclusion and assaulted me verbally. After all the screaming yelling and accusations I wish I had never bought this product from this store 6-7 yrs ago and had also never stopped by to repurchased defective kit as I only needed 2 wires.
He questioned the fact as to why the store manager never returned this kit to the company they have purchased it from and said that this is money they have lost a long time ago as they pay for this already. I made him aware that the only reason I returned the items was because the kit was defective and was causing my vehicle to malfunction/misfiring in the cylinders, afterwards he raised his voice and said that no one is allowed to return a used item regardless of the fact. In addition I told him that he found out about this as I had just told him/informed them otherwise they product would have still be collecting dust in the shelf as it had been for the last yrs. I couldn't believe that he raised his voice at me I felt completely offended and humiliated at this point I decided I had enough and politely walked away and told him he will never see my face in that store ever again.
1. I was embarrassed by his abrasive tone of voice
2. The owner never made the attempt to apologize
3. Never allowed me to explain why I was there
4. He inappropriately accused me of being troublesome
5. My Wednesday evening was spoiled by this incident
I frequently have been a customer and a great friend of the family. In the future I will think twice before referring all friends and family to purchase from this company.
