Recently purchased a Mr.Coffee coffee maker #FTX45-1. It lasted about 3 months & then would only make 2 of 12 cups of coffee. You had to turn it on & on 8 or 9 time before it would finally make the 12 cups of coffee. This the 2nd Mr. Coffee #FTX45-1 that I will have to take back to Walmart ( I hope that they will exchange it ). I'm afraid to program it & leave it pluged in over nite for fear of a fire!!! I have notice that there have been a number of complaints just like mine on the Mr.Coffee recall site ?? Why don't they recall this unit before it causes a FIRE & some gets hurt/killed ??????
