As you prob know ...I believe mRI AND ALL INVOLVED and the developer and the furnishings supplier and the lawyers ( so called - 'Independent'-TO BE COMPLICIT AND CONSTANTLY IN DEVIOUS PRACTISE.I believed all their assurances and promises because (a) I did not want to loose 30% plus the furniture pack costs, legal costs etc etc etc etc.and (b) I thought if they did all that they promised and assured ...then perhaps, just perhaps, - most of it could be salvaged.Instead ...I now face penury and ruin.Truth is I am devastated. Please please be very very careful ...understand what is going on here- it is fraud.Listen to me.I am walking proof ...do you think they could not treat you in the same way? My APARTMENT IS A 20TH of what it should have been and was presented and sold to me.I wont bore you with it here...but NONE of the remedial works or MAIN snags or issues have been remedied -ALL involved stated all they were going to do ...added to which the Developer was going to provide me a tenant for 12 months by way of compensation. This was January 2008. BUT...The apartment was UNINHABITABLE and unusable and unrentable all of 2008 - they didnt even put curtains in it until July- but this was a joke as the entire fabric and functionality of this apartment throughout was shocking. in addition...As presented and sold to me by MRI it was high end spec - wood, ( AS IN TREES)terracotta tiled etc ... instead =it is MDF and cheap laminate flooring and cheap grey tile .The furniture is the worst I have ever seen in my whole life and has no durabilty whatsoever.I had bought a book for the MRI rep - expensive, -coffee table book ...of the spec of a hero of mine, -an architecht, called ROBERT DALLAS ( look him up) AND I had photographs of my own furniture and an inherited timeshare (Marriott Cypress Harbour Orlando--look it up ) furniture... and with all the assurances and presentations via him and MRI I thought we were entirely on the same page...IMAGINE my horror when I saw that terrible apartment, no electric no heat --freezing cold ...filthy..imeasurable problems -cubic capacity deficit being just a tiny part of that ...nevertheless it was so cold and inoperable shower etc etc ...we stayed one dreadful night had to move out and into a hotel ...never got compensated for that either. I meanwhile was paying a mortgage in good faith, hoping they would do it all and involved in endless letters and stress night after night, weekends, week after week month after month... the golf represented 20%/ 30% additional equity ( I bought mine specifically for that)but it was gross misreprestation- even now ---I have had nothing in writing ...ditto the 'swimming pool '. I would think that they are being careful now because... unlike me... who was so alone in all of this... if you all Join together and refuse to complete - THEY ARE in a serious situation. If I had chance now I would never ever ever complete.It is lawless and corrupt and they are all complicit in raw dealings which are indefensible ... I speak for myself and so, so many others .You must form an idestructable alliance= a group with a total focus and goal who is aware of how decent hardworking trusting individuals such as myself have been treated like filth.I will never go to Bulgaria as long as I live now and I am walking from this apartment .My provable losses are £56.000 you are welcome to send this to your group.
