I purchased maruti estilo car (engine no.K10BN4010712) from M/s Dewars Garage, kolkata . As per the 'catalogue', the 'price list' and the 'sales personnel' of the delear the car is 'BS-IV Compliant' . But the blue book (smart card), delivered to me by the delear, shows the emission norm as 'BS-III'.
Now, the delear refuses to correct the mistake extending various untenable reasons such as (1)'as the OEM did not mention any emission norm in the original 'invoice for the buyer' (2)'as the Govt. is yet to implement the BS-IV norm' and (3) 'the car is BS-IV COMPLIANT and not BS-IV car', etc.
