Canceled Subscription but was billed anyway.

Jan 2008 signed up for (2) online subscriptions to Catan Game. ($20/yr)

Dec 2008 logged into our accounts and canceled our subscriptions. Our subscriptions went inactive immediately and we were not even able to finish using our years subscription after we canceled

Jan 2009 - MSN games renews both of the canceled subscriptions. so I called MSN Games (866-672-4551). I was told that I needed to cancel my subscriptions via phone to avoid the renewal charges and that canceling online was not good enough. I then was able to cancel my subscription to avoid getting charged again in 2010 but MSN Games refused to refund me the Jan 2009 charges.

I disputed the charges with my credit card company and they promptly refund me my money but as far as I am concerned MSN Games stole that money and needs to review their business practices
