Avoid at all cost!
I highly recommend avoiding Multiband Internet through Direct TV at all cost! Seriously. I had the worse experience with them.

I moved into my new place march 1 and had internet scheduled to be installed on march 6. I had made the appointment two weeks before I had moved in...

The day came for install. Guy showed up three hours later and was very rude. He was made that I was asking questions, mad that I had two cats that he kept stepping on. He hooked everything up and wanted to leave but I told him I wanted to make sure it worked...and it did not work. He argued that he did not have time to waste on fixing my internet and finally after about five minutes of complaining he gave in and said he would stay and fix it since I couldn't do it myself. Turns out the wires out side my apartment had been cut so he had to replace them. He was very angry by the time he left.

I could hardly ever get the internet to work... always said there was no connection avaliable.

I got my first bill about a week and a half after I got the service. I had been told internet would be $34.99...my bill was for $59.99 I called customer service and was told it was because I did not start my service on their billing cycle and that is how much I would be charged every month. I also mentioned that my internet was not working. the guy on the phone told me oh well, it just because you live in an apartment. Deal with it.

I finally gave up and switched to a better internet company whom I got internet and tv for $50.22 a month that works perfectly...anyway Anyway I called and cancelled my service. I was told that I had to pay the full bill even though I had not had service for the full 5 weeks I was being charged. I had only had service for 3 weeks. The manager told me I would pay the full balance and it the company FELT like it they would credit me the money back on my bill. I pointed out to him that I was cancelling my service so a credit on the bill would mean nothing to me. He said to call him when I got the bill and he would see what he could do.

As for the equipment... I had to mail it back to them which cost me $45 dollars. I tried having them come pick it up, nope not happening. I tried dropping the equipment off at their building...you cant get into the building unless you are an employee and have an access card/badge!!!

I got my bill with the amount credited...$38.00 I called to see if they would give me a check for the remaining balance. They refused and told me I could only use my credit towards the company! If I wanted my money I shouldnt have over paid them! I tried explaining that that was what my bill said but the guy was very rude and disrespectful!

Not only am I out the $38.00 they refuse to give back to me. I am also out the $45.00 I HAD to spend in shippping because the company refused to pick up their equipment. Bad experiences. terrible customer service.
