I purchased a pom from Andraea Murrietta in Queen Creek over 2 yrs ago. she was advertising them as toy poms cute and small and said the pup would only be 4-5 lbs. I went to go see them and the parents were very large, the mother looked like a small american eskimo almost 12 lbs and the father was a giant black dog almost 15 lbs by the looks of it. i asked her if the parents were big were the pups not going to be big as well, she said oh no they produce small puppies, that the father throws small genes in his pups and assured me that the pup would get no bigger than 5 lbs, i told her i was looking for a male to breed with my small 4 lb female, she was selling the pup for $900 but she said if i wanted him with breeding rights i had to pay $1500. so i didnt know much and i agreed and payed her. i specificly asked her if the parents were healthy and had any hereditary problems that my puppy would have and she assured me that they are perfectly healthy. 8 months later i take the dog who is almost full grown into the vet and they tell me he has a terrible under bite, that I should not breed him, and the dog by this point is weighing amost 12 lbs. as big as the parents were. they also point out to me that the dog only has one testicle and that he should definatly not be bred. so I do the right thing and neuter the dog, I cant use him to breed with my female any way as he is to large. I contacted her then 1 1/2 yrs after purchasing the dog and tell her that what the Vet said and she tells me she doesnt know any thing about that. I told her the vet said that the under bite and retained testicle all all hereditary and were passed down from eithe the mother or father. she assures me that it is not possible that none of the parents have any problem and none of the other pups she has sold have ever had any problems. and i was stupid enough to dismised it and thought ok she just didnt know. then 2 month ago im looking on the internet and see a posting of someone who is also complaining about her that she is a back yard breeder, that they looked over her back wall and found the dogs in horrible conditions all matted up with twigs in their hair, running around on dirt with bone dry empty water bowls. with nothing to lay on but an old dirty pissed and pooped on baby crib mattress. and that they had just been inside the house and that she picked up the big black pom and had noticed that it only had one testicle when she had her hand under his bottom she double checked and he was a cryptochid. I thought to my self, this couldnt possibly be the same black dog the father of the pup i had purchased from her, she had told me that she knew nothing about that and that both parents were fine. so I called her just to pretend like i was letting her know how my dog I purchased from her was doing, and asked her if she had purchased a new male dog or if she still had the same one that was the father of my dog. she said she had not purchased any new black dog and that she still had the same one that was the father of the pup i had purchased from her. I was so mad at that time I could have drove down there and beat her ass. she knew her male was a cryptorchid and only had one testicle and yet that was her main male that she was using and is still using to breed knowing that that is hereditary and will be passed down to all the pups and she is still trying to sell them with breeding rights . She is a un ethical breeder and i believe the posting i read that her poms were in those terrible conditions. thats why when i had firs gone to buy a pup she just brought in the mother and father and didnt want to let me go outside and see the other dogs out there. she keeps them outside all day and night in this terrible triple degree heat and dosent even groom or at least shave them down to help cool them off. some one will be calling animal control on her very soon so hopefully that will keep them on their toes to always keep them clean and give them food and water at least. dont buy from her, she is a lier and all she cares about is money. the add also said that they had several other adds out all over the place posted for different things just to try to get money, beware of this Andraea Murrietta she is a fraud.
