Mushroom Magic (JH Group Global), markets and sells mushroom spores. They say that the only thing you need is a space of 2 x 2 meters in your garage or a shed and some straw (or any other substrate, like grass or leaves). You place the spores in the substrate, leave it for three weeks, and then you will start harvesting your mushrooms.

This is a total lie!! When you recieve their Manual (which is a photocopied little booklet), this is some of the things you need to do/have to make this business work:

TOTAL SANITATION
BOOTS, MASKS, GLOVES
SPECIAL LIGTHS
SPECIAL AIRFILTER
AIRTIGHT ROOM
VENTILATION
FOOT BATH
PASTURIZED SUBSTRATE (IN 55-60 DEGREES)
STEAM THE ROOM AT 60 DEGREES AFTER HARVESTING
If you do not harvest in time it could cause SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARDS SUCH AS ASTHMA
OVER 30 DEGREES CAN KILL YOUR WHOLE HARVEST (I especially asked the supplier if the mushrooms will grow in more than 30 degrees, and he said no problem...)

If I knew all (or some) of the above, I would never have bought the spores from them, because I will not be able to grow them. These people are lying through their marketing, making money and getting away with this!! In one of my e-mails, I asked the supplier for his honest opinion...and he just kept on lying.

Since the first time I have called their, the owner/seller, has been overseas. He is still not reachable, still "overseas". The receptionist claims she does not know a thing about anything. She just answers the phone.
