This company should not be allowed to bait children in with presale passcodes .The website Team Jonas targets children and should NO longer be allowed to bait children in with presale passcodes with and only with paid membership.
I upgraded my daughter`s membership to legacy at ofcourse a higher price, with the legacy membership came a special gift ( have to wait months for that ), legacy only ( still no contests ) contests, and legacy members would receive the presale passcodes before other members.
The day the presale was to start I was in contact with [email protected] asking when legacy members would receive the passcodes.In a email reply it stated there would be an email blast around 3:30Pm ALSO stated on the team jonas website it clearly stated legacy members should look for an email "approximately" 90 minutes before the start of the presale.This would be as customer support stated around 3:30Pm.
I did not receive my passcode until 4:44PM, and regular members received their passcodes as stated by customer support only 6 minutes later at 4:50pm.
The person answering my complaint with the BBB " C D " seems to feel that 16 minutes before the 5:00 pm start is " approximately" 90 minutes. If they were not sending out the codes till 4:44 PM it should have read "approximately " 30 minutes before the presale start.Why mislead children ?
I do not believe 4:44pm is approximately 90 minutes BEFORE 5:00pm.
" C D " also stated that I will not let this issue go and is demanding ( did not demand ) a resolution that will not be granted.
The resolutiion asked for was the items included in the vip package minus the tickets this was what I planned on purchasing if it had not been for their delay in sending the passcodes.
This matter is about children being baited in, it`s about false information being supplied on the website, it is about musictoday only honoring the written information on the website when it benifits musictoday only that is the reason I will not let this go.There needs to be away to protect children .
I am sure I am not the only parent outraged by this and I am hoping a class action suit can be filed forcing this company to
1 ) NO longer allow this company to bait children in with presale passcodes.
presale passcodes should no longer be allowed to be offered with ANY fan club memberships by this company.
2 ) Parents of children that have join the fan club should All receive a refund .
