I purchased a Muvado watch about 3 years ago, and paid a little over $800, for it, It wasnt the most exspensive watch in the store but it was what I was seeking, I had purchased it from a Kay Jewlers, My first Nice dress Watch, It meant alot to me. I am a average working guy and it took a while to save for this time piece that I thought would last many years. I wore the watch about 20 times over the last few years and about two months ago I pulled it out for a event I was attending and it had stopped running, I took it to the jewler, figuring they would replace the battery and off I would go. No sir, has to go back to Muvado for a battery, and it will be about $80, ok fine, a month later, I call the jewler, oh well you need to have the movment replaced and then re seal the watchand it is going to cost you $795.
THE PRICE OF A NEW WATCH. well live and learn, If I did have another $800 to drop on a watch, it wouldnt be a muvado, I have Timex watches that have been through two and three batteries and bands and they still tell me what time it is.
