Unauthoriorized credit card charge
I've had two charges on my Visa card from this company. I don't know who they are, what they do or what they sell and I don't give a damn. I've never ordered any product or service from them. There needs to be a stop to their fraudulent practices.
I've reported them to my credit card provider as well. I really would like to know how they got my credit card information. I'm sure if I pulled this off on anyone I'd be sent to prison.
When I typed MVQ into Google to find out who they were a screen popped up listing complaint after complaint about their unauthorized charges to others.

charged for fees/ twice billed on one date
My checking showed being billed for a $2.00 fee, then a $12.00 reward fee and then billed twice in the same day for $29.95.

Mysterious Charge
Well, a $19.95 charge appeared on our credit card last month. After checking this board, I called the number on our statement and, after putting in our phone number, their computer verbally told me that we had signed up on 11/7 and that our account was being closed. Sure can't figure out what we clicked on that allowed them to snare us. Next step will be to call them and ask for a refund. If they refuse, I guess I have to call Visa and dispute the charge with them.
Do people generally get the charges cancelled?

never joined or signed for
2 charges appeared on my debit card 10/20/2009 and 10/21/2009 - for MVQ* and I've never heard of them. Both charges were for $14.95.
My bank is investigating but still does not know what they are nor do I.

Unauthorized billing on CC
My credit card was billed 4-months in a row for $11.95 without authorization.
I never received any membership material welcoming me and giving me an ID number.
What a SCAM to soak the already financially hurting senior citizens!

Scam
I also have no idea hwo these people got my credit card. We are being charged 14.95. think it is funny how on their website they expect you not to know who they are. The first thing you see on their website is explaining if you found a MVQ charge on your bil...etc, etc..I now have to go back over my statements as I am not aware if this is the first time they are charging me. I will also be reporting this to the BBB. If you need my signature for your letter to CT let me know!

Never signed up for MVQ Club
I have been charged 3 times each month for MVQ charges of 14.95 for services I did not autherize and merchandise that I did not receive.

Crooks
I have never heard of this company util the bank sent me a letter saying it was closed out and i owe them 230.00. crooks! I opened this account just to be able to cash a check in my town.

UNAUTHERIZED CHARGES
BANK ACCOUNT HAS BEEN OVERDRAWED FOR LAST TWO MONTHS. GOT PRINTOUT FROM BANK AND FOUND OUT THAT MVQ HAS BEEN CHARGING MY ACCOUNT 29.95 EACH MONTH, PLUS 1.00 AND ALSO THEY HAVE CHARGED SOMETHING TO ME (I DON'T KNOW WHAT ) FOR 29.80 JUST NOW FOUND IT ONLINE AND ASK THEM TO CANCEL IMMED. I AM ON S.S. AND NEED EVERY PENNY I HAVE. I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS, DON' WANT THIS. WHATEVER IT IS. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW I CAN GO ABOUT GETTING THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY. SO FAR THEY HAVE CHARGED ME 90 SOME ODD DOLLARS WITHOUT MY OK AND I NEED MY MONEY BACK. THANK YOU.

unauthorized charges
ok so my husband signed up for the 9.99 a year membership at classmates.com last week. Today I got a 19.99 charge from some group named MVQ Privacy. I have cancelled my card immediately and paid the 5.00 replacement fee. Looks like ive been hit as well. Guess I will take it up with the bank asap.
Yall watch out... C L A S S M A T E S . C O M is fun to try to get back in touch but it shouldnt cost you anymore than you agree to spend. What a shame!
