This started in 2008 when we purchase a new dining room set from Bassett Company's Outlet in Castleton Indiana (Indianapolis). (By the way Bassett is now closing this location because of poor sales-- and from my perspective false advertizing!) Bassett advertized $500 in free gas, food, or discounts for future purchases at Bassett. When we purchased the $1200 Kitchen dining room set-- Bassett made a big deal of how wonderful this was and that we would get our Visa cards soon.

When we got the paperwork we were quite surprised in that they wanted $9.95 processing fee to "set up the account" . Then we had to submit $100 worth of receipts from the same location to get a $25 Visa Debit Card. We did this from September of 2009 through June of 2009 and were told they went out of business and My free Travel was replacing them BUT we would have to start over. AND Bassett wanted a release from any future liability or publicity on this matter-- no wonder !!

My Free Travel started out very friendly. The have a web site and looked much more promissing-- soe we bit. We paid $9.95 and started over last October. Every mointh we have sent in the $100 receipts-- WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THAT FIRST VISA CARD! My wife called several time and they said they were behind and we should be getting our VISA Cards soon. WELLLLLL---- it is 2010 and we have yet to get that first rebate. The latest is that My Free Travel has a voice message telling calles that they are no longer acepting any redemption requests.

We even complained to the State Atturney General's Office in Flordia, Illinios, and Indiana-- a wasxte of time!
