Steve Horwits, a registered sex offender in IL for relations with a child between 13-15, and president of My Free Travel and now Vacation Consultants International is committing fraud. He took money from resellers for rebate certificates and then claimed that he could not fulfill them. He has an obligation to fulfill these certificates.

He also continues to process the certificates and receive the processing fees from consumers with no intention to fulfill the certificates. Please call his office at 1-800-219-4152, press option 1 and ask for Steve Horwitz (if you can even stand talking to a child predator) and ask him what he is going to do to help you. EVERYONE affected should call him and force him to do the right thing.

For those who are not aware, Customer Loyalty International was the company that sold the rebate cards that My Free Travel redemed. If you go to CLI`s web, click the products tab and then scroll to the bottom of the page you will see cards almost idenical to the ones you have. They have moved from Joliet Ill. to Seatlle Wa. I have a series of emails from the man in charge of CLI. They start out pleasent then go bad. He basically admits they were selling cards even though they knew MFT was going under. I received through a company I did business as an added bonus a 300 grocery rebate. I followed the instrucions to the letter and being a dumb dumb enclosed the 9.95 check they promised to refund on the 1st grocery rebate. I was wondering where my rebate was an found the compaint board on the scam. Web site says they will not honor anything after december 1, 2009. They cased the check! I should have been more pro-active, but was desperate for the extra 300 in grocery's at Christmas, I didnt investigate. I think they should have to honor their terms. Somebody made a lot of money with the 9.95 checks.

My story is the same...started with B&Z grocery, which went under and then I was told to reregister with gas rebate.net, which went under and now was directed to re register with claim your visa cards, and to send $9.95 in twice, one for gas rebates and one for grocery rebates. Apparently this scam has been going on for some time. I received ONE $25.00 gift card, and now I out of the rest of the $500.00 promised to me by Allstate Gutters in NJ. Anyone starting a class action suit???
