I ordered online info for education grants for $1.98 which I read on line. 5 days later my debit card was charged $58.61 that I did not authorize. Google should be more careful about the ads they post. They get their money for the ads and the heck with everybody else. How do I get my money back? JF

I authorized $1.95 and was charged $1.97. Then I noticed a charge for $58.61 that I had not authorized. The company is extremely difficult to track down and won't refund my money. When the site was visited, I found the information not even worth the $1.95.

I received several phone calls from representatives of the company during the first week, offering other services, and cancelled any further dealings with My Grant Dollars, which apparently is not how this is to be done. They have other companies solicit services, but cannot cancel a service that no one knows that they have signed up for until they are billed $58.61, that's if you are fortunate enought to see the charge the first time through.

My Grant Dollars is a huge scam! I only wish that I had known this before my "$1.95 authorization.

For those who have yet to cancel, you can call 1-866-470-6898. (They are all "supervisors" and will give you a complaint address of [email protected] All that they will do is cancel your account, but you can try to receive a refund at the email address. Not sure how this will work out!)

I can't find the original website that I went to when I signed up for it. I never received a cd or anything.
I can see that other people have been charged also. Does anyone know the original website name?
Because it was not "mygrantdollars" in it.

this company has taken money out of my checking account without permission, I authorized a 1 time debit of a 1.95 and now they've charged my account 58.61 what to do?

I recently authorized a charge on 2.01 for grant information, then found out 1week later that another 70.71 was taken from my account for something I never bought. I too, contacted the website and requested to cancel any membership that THE company signed me up for and proceeded to let them know that I did not authorize this and I wanted my money back immediatly. Today I still have not heard anything and am extremely upset about this. I have been layed from my job just recently and cannot afford this kind of thing to happen.
