www.mygrantsite.net stole $39.95 from my account for a cd that only cost $2.29 for shipping and handling. I haven't even recieved the cd and they stole some money. I want my $39.95 back NOW.

I signed up to recieve a free CD to help with finding grants. I had to pay a $2.29 for a shipping fee...
Six days later I noticed another charge of $39.95. I called the number listed on www.mygrantsite.net and was able to speak with a customer service person. She explained that the company partners with 2 other companies/sites that were going to charge me additiional charges as well. I was able to cancel everything without any problems. She said they were going to issue a refund and cancel the other 2 memberships as well and gave me coformation codes for each.
Today has been 17 days since I was roped with the "free CD" offer - that I still have NOT recieved (They said it would be 10-14 days for delivery.) Today also happens to be 8 days from when they gave me my refund conformation code... Still I have not recieved my refund.
When I called today today to find out what was going on with the refund, I realized this company is simply a scam. They told me the lady I spoke with last week must have done something wrong and then gave me another conformation code... the exact same code she gave me last week!?! I asked to talk to her supervisor and was put on hold. Even that was a joke! When she first put me into the que, I was caller #22. I was half tempted to hang up when I heard that, but was glad I didn't. I'm guessing it's some sort of game they play to try to get people to hang up. Every 12 seconds, a recording came on to let me know that I was one step closer to my turn; 21, 20, 19, ect... I'm not sure if there is anythng I can do about this company who is scaming and taking advantage of people. From the testimonials I've read on this site and others, many other people have had my same poblem. I was lucky enough to catch it afer the first charge.
I'm not really sure what steps to take from here. If there is anyone out there that knows of any options that I may have, please let me know ( Jennifer; [email protected] ). I'm not nessiceraly just trying to get my money back. What I want is to see this company shut down before it ruins someone elses life.

your company billed me $39.95 when it should of only been $2.95 shipping & handling charges, I didn't receive nothing by mail, and I receive a call asking for enrollment in other things and I refuse to use that but now you charged on my card $39.95, cancel the order for the 2.95
and I demand you return my money.

i didn't authorize anyone to take 39.95 out of my account.
i want it put back immediately that's bullshit.
