I tried Acaiberry back in Nov 2008 and promptly cancelled it. Today, December 27, 2009 I realized that I've been charged 29.95 for some health service since Nov. 2008. The charges are from "My Healthy Hub" and "My Trainer". I called my bank, and they geve me their phone numbers. When I called I was told that along with the Acaiberry purchase in Nov. 2008 there was small print and an email saying that there was this 21 day free subscription and to cancel you'd have to call a separate number. Since November 2008 I received nothing! Not one email or phone call. The information presented was tied to the Acaiberry information and not conspicuous at all. I have been paying 29.95 for the last 12 months totalling approx. $359.
I did manage to get a 6 month refund from them, and I suppose I'm willing to take some responsibility for not fully reading the Nov. 2008 email. I dtill don't beleive their business practices are ethical. How can you charge someone and and receive no service? No communications? No nothing?
Beware of these people. Does anyone know of a class action or other lawsuit against this company?
