duplicated order
Automatic voice ordering system was confusing. Extra product not ordered but shipped and was billed for the extra. Recieved peat pots with seeds only when plants were expected. Very poor condition of peat pots, seeds & soil spilled out of package.

Scam
Ordered two packages of the giant tomato trees special as advertised on TV, but through their web page. Order was supposed to be 6 plants in each group (one seed per pod) for $15.00 plus handling. Received confirmation of the order and the price which was $ 57.00. Parcel came, with four packages 2 supposedly as ordered and two free packages as not ordered. In addition I received a new invoice showing a total of $130.64. When I enquired I was told that I had to pay the additional costs for the free seeds. One seed per pod for "early tomatoes" which can be purchased for .79 cents at the local hardware store in an envelope containing 27 seeds. When I advised that I did not want them and was sending them back I was told I would have to pay for the shipping and handling. I refused and hung up. I returned the full order and lo and behold not only was one payment taken out of the credit card account but now there were two deductions each in the amount of $65.32 each, for a total $140.64 again more than even the second invoice. I have all the documentation which I can scan and send to those who intend on doing something about their particular matter with this company, and will cooperate fully with anyone who requires my assistance. I have notified MARKETPLACE today and am hoping that they will take up the case. Please notifiy them that you to have been scammed. Also contact the police in your area and lodge a complaint as I have done.

return policy
I was watching an add on T.V. it looked so great awsome blueberries and giant tomatoes, thought wow what a great way to have a easy garden on the padio yada yada...we called and started to order one of each, through or credit card so far we agreed with the price, when we reached the end of the ordering process we disagreed with the price it was a whopping 59.95 for a 16.95 each order!!, there was no prompt to accept ordecline order, it just went sailing through to order so reluctantly we gave our address, thought oh well live and learn we'll get the plants and really apreciate them HAHA!!! when the order arrived we got five sticks with roots in dry soil{blue berries} and 6 very dry peat pods in baggies with the dirt falling out very poor packaging not to mention shipped all together, but we were charged for individule shipping, we returned them promptly stating we were not satisfied and they have only credited my card for 16.95 X 2 no shipping credit...live and learn I guess but I am complaining because they have no way for customers to contact them at all I would have not ordered them if I was able to stop the order during the ordering process

I watched on tv the advertising for blue berries and seeing that the price for 3 blue plants was $15.95, I ordered 3 plants. I received the plants 10 days later and saw that the 3 plants were $15.95 for each plant. I rang the person on the telephone number and she said that there were in fact 3 stems on each blue berry plant and they were $15.95 each. And then $33.00 courier and tax on top, making the bill $86. The advertising on tv does not make any attempt to explain this at all and it is, in fact, false advertising. I am certain that people all over the country are finding themselves been hoodwinked in this way and fining themselves with huge bills. Moreover they demand that you insure these plants when you return them (NOT). Watch out for these people.

Did not order 27 Blueberry plants
I phoned to order 2 blueberry plants for about $20. When I thought my 2 plant order was complete - I was told my bill would be over $154.00 for 27 plants. Unfortunately I had already given them my visa number, which then right away I phoned Visa to put my account on hold. I kept trying to phone the Magic Garden back and but just kept getting a recording and could not talk to anyone. Today I received ALL the plants, so far the amount has not come through my visa. I did phone Visa to advise them as well- as my visa has now been taken off hold. Not sure what to do next!!
