In response to the previous complaint about me and My Paralegal:

Mr. fakespam is a bold faced liar, period.

This man came to my office with a pre-signed hand written document (on notebook paper), without the person who signed it, and demanded that I notarize it and the two copies. I refused.

He brought a friend (a prior customer whose case outcome was very favorable) who had a pre-signed document (on notebook paper as well) and demanded that I notarize the original document and the copies. I told him that I would notarize the original, but he would need to resign it in my presence and then he could make as many copies as he wanted.

Then, Mr. fakespam and his buddy asked me to review the documents and make sure they were ok. I told him that I could not review them for content, but I did tell Mr. fakespam that if they were for filing with the court that they should be prepared in the proper format. (the document was handwritten and went up the sides and around to the back with a ‘see other side’ moniker) I suggested that they go the Nevada Supreme Court website and look at the templates there and they would have a good start. Mr. fakespam told me that judge told him he could submit the documents on notebook paper. At this point I did say his documents were "wrong" because they were in the incorrect format. I am not sure about what he is talking about when he says I said he does not have any Constitutional Rights.

They both became very beligerent, nasty, aggressive, (and tried to be intimidating) and demanden that I prepare them and that a fair price would be $200 and that is what he would pay me. Since their attitudes were a total turn-off, I said that I don't think that would be a good idea because I don't think anything I did for them would be acceptable. They then continued to badger, belittle and insult me, stating that I was "just a paralegal" and probably couldn't do the job anyway. I then told them that I would not do the job for $5000 and asked them to leave.

They left, giving me the one fingered salute.

I believed at the time that there visit was a setup, done in order to get me to break the law by notarizing pre-signed documents and by giving them legal advice about their documents; neither of which I would do.

Contrary to their statements, I don't play lawyer. In fact, I go out of my way NOT to play lawyer. I use an Intake Sheet to gather the information I need to prepare documents. If the information provided is good, so too, will the documents be. If the information is incorrect, false or simply untrue, guess what, so too, will the documents be. I don't give my customers legal advice and I don't tell them what to say in court. What I do tell them is to be respectful to the judge and the other party. To stand when they speak and to address the judge as "your honor". I also tell them to dress nice.

You see, their case is their case. I am not there to argue it for them as I see the case or as their attorney trying to represent thier case to the court. They are there themselves, with what they know the facts to be, the truth to be, the untruth to be; and with the documents that they provided me the information to prepare. Under these circumstances, it is impossible for me to provide any legal advice to anyone!

I am not sure how I stepped on Mr. fakespam's civil rights. He came to my office, asked me to break the law, not once, but three times; and I refused to do that. And HE is blaming me for my failure to break the law for him: go figure.

I am not aware of any problems with the Nevada Bar; however, I know that there have been investigators in my office trying to see if I was breaking the law. I have not. As I said, I take extreme caution NOT to break the law and ensure that what I do is exactly what my customers instruct me to do.

I have worked hard to build my business and I have done it ethically, morally and truthfully. Only when I catch someone in a lie do these types of nonsense seem to appear. As in Mr. fakespam's case, he tried to get me to do something that was against the law, I refused, and Mr. fakespam speaks horribly of me. The trend is typical.

As far as my children: There are two sides to every story. I have never been given the chance to tell my children my view point of what happened in the divorce. Too bad, because possibly, just possibly, their mother did what she needed to do to protect her $1500 per month in child support for nearly 17 years.

I began preparing contracts and other legal documents in 1981 with an aerospace company. I was involved in contract law from 1981 until 2001, when I struck out on my own full time. I began preparing legal documents on a part-time basis in 1989. Once, again, there are two sides to every story.

Regarding judges: In the 80's judges historically sided with women and nearly always gave the woman the children, money, home, etc. Now, judges are more in tune with the fact that the best interest of the children need to be served, rather than the sex of the parent who is awarded the children.

Attorneys: I absolutely despise corrupt attorneys, and that is that. There are attorneys that I respect and when I get a case that requires and attorney or the customer needs legal advice, they are referred to an attorney. Don't believe me, just ask the local attorneys. I send them a lot of business on cases that I should not be involved in.

The ACLU, I don't believe that I have done anything to warrant thier attention.

You will have to complete an Intake Sheet and there will be lots of questions ... to make sure I understand your instructions completely.
