Being very knew to lace wigs, I decided to use the experience of a Stylist to make my purchase. Unfortunately I selected Shear Essence Salon in JAX, FL .(formerly on Merrill Rd., now on Southside Blvd. I had a very negative experience with this salon, and spent $850.00 for it. Of course I was expecting to be a satisfied customer with that kind of outpouring of cash, but I wasn't.

*I asked for, and paid for a fill lace wig, and I discovered approximately a week after the wig was installed, that it was a lace front wig. The wig is like a traditional style wig in the back. Although this style is growing in popularity, it was never discussed as an option during my consultation with them, and I was not expecting it. This is probably why I was only shown the outside of the wig before it was installed.

The measurements were off, and the unit it too big both front to back, and ear to ear. The minute that the stylist put it on my head she knew that her measurements were off. After all she has done this before, and claims to be a Hair Replacement Specialist . she did not acknowledge this, and proceeded with the installation. Although I began to verbalize complaints about problems with the unit as I took notice of them, it has been to no avail.

They are in complete denial about it, and the owner of the salon will not even talk to me about it. I am usually pretty easy to please, but I don't like it when people don't assume responsibility for their actions. Shear Essence Salon turned out to be like the essence of a skunk for me.
