put in informatin without my permsisson
I was rearching a business meeting for next week and googled the person i was meeting with. The first link was a mylife.com that had pictures with it. I opened it and logged on (which I thought was for security) the login required name email age and zip code. I put that in but when it asked for $5 I got out of it. When returning to this site from my computer history, my profile which I did not create (only a login) had a comment on it that I was looking for men within a 20 mile radius. I DID NOT PUT THIS IN A PROFILE AND AM FURIOUS THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN WITHOUT PERMISSION. I AM CALLING THE BETTER BUSINESS B. I AM ALSO CONTACTING A LAWYER.

cannot access the site after I paid to be a member
I joined mylife.com to update addresses from friends for high school reunion. I was able to access the site before I paid when I was a free member, but after I paid then I could no longer access the site. It comes up inoperable action. I am upset. I am angry that I paid money and then I am not able to use the site. I think I have been scammed.

scam
Received an email from this company saying that a person I know (and they named the person) had invited me to join the website and view their site and pictures. This was an outright lie. I contacted the person and she said they did the same thing to her, it appeared that somehow they had breached her email address book and sent this to people in her email. She thought maybe some of her past school friends were trying to get in touch with her. This was not the case. "MyLife.com" is somehow hacking in and getting people's email addresses and then sending a bogus email saying a person they know is inviting them to join. WRONG!
After you check out you find out there is nothing there but a blank page with the person's name on it and then the site wants you to join and they have "upgraded" features for a charge, and of course want you to pay.
BEWARE!!! If you get an email from them, add it to your spam list, and delete it!

Unauthorized charges
I changed internet providers and lost my email addresses. I did a search to see if I could find it and Email Finders popped up. For 1.95 for 1 email address I of course tried to go for it. After giving my payment information I was given other options of things to purchase and I denied all of them. At the point when I was told to hit next for my requested e-mail address I was all of a sudden sent to My Life.com (formerly Reunion.com) I immediately dropped out of the web site as at that moment realizing I'd been scammed into something, I didn't want to begin with.
I then received an e-mail confirmation from e-mail finders.com thanking me for joining and advising me they would be taking $23.40 out of my account and that I was a member for 1 year. I was furious and reported them to the Internet Crime Unit, Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. I consider myself pretty internet savy but this was real slick and like a first class fool I fell for it. Please beware of these websites.

False Advertising
This is a fraud and false advertisement. If you see the attached ad, you will see that is states that you can find out who has been googling your name. Not what percentage but an actual name FREE!
This is not the case at all however. You have to subscribe which will cost you $36 to $60 depending on the length of time.
When I called the 888 number: 1 (888) 704-1900. I was told that this ad is incorrect and that I would need a premium account by Jessie at extension 256. Purely false advertising without a care in the world.
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to this joke of a company. When it was Reunion.com I had a good friend that received so much spam after subscribing to them, that they had to get rid of that email account.

Unauthorized charges
In February 2009, I signed up with MyLife.Com for $60 in hopes of finding old classmates. This site turned out to be a waste of good money. Then, in March of 2009 an amount of $19.95 was charged to my bank card. I had been traveling and thought that I must have lost track of a receipt.
BUT - in April a charge for the same amount of $19.95 was charged to my bank card.
I tried calling the number listed next to the charge with the name of SavingsAce. The number was totally automated and wanted my card number to get any kind of response. But the automation kept repeating the numbers back to me out of order, so I just hung up after several tries.
I immediately called my bank and went in to sign dispute papers. We canceled my card. I found this Web Site and see that I am not the only person with the very same problem.
Let's get these guys and hopefully even our $60 from MyLife.

charged by affiliated company savingsace
This site is a total scam. Read all the small print when you are accepting the terms and conditions. Mylife.com markets their site for $5/mo for a year subscription however when signing up they charge the full $60 as a one time fee. On top of this they enroll you in an affiliate company that charges an additional $19.95. I have tried to cancel this subscription and get a refund and both companies have been very evasive and non-cooperative. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!
