misleading commercials
Their commercials advertise they are a free site however after I input my name it indicated a number of people were searching for me. They would tell me who those people were for a price.

INTERNET & C.CARD FRAUD
I Recently signed up for mylife.com in hopes of finding old school friends. And i saw where someone was looking for me.The site is very misleading. What i thought was going to be a 26.00 charge at the last second said my card was bein charged 179.oo.If i:d known that i would of never have signed up for it.First person i tried to find was mostly the wrong information on the person i was looking for.The picture was diffently not the person i was looking for. When i looked to see who was looking for me it was someone i"ve never heard of.At the time it said, aJEFFREY TINSLEY was looking for the person who was looking for me.At the time i didn:t make the connection he"s the ceo of MYLIFE.COM.When i tried to look up other people it said, go to your e-mail.Well guess what ?? nothing. No information.NOTHING!! I tried again still nothing.Kept checking e-mail NOTHING! Then i started getting upset .Then i started checking reviews and blogs to my horr. What i was starting to think was true. All the reviews and blogs all the same stories.I got charged 179.00 for NOTHING.And iam sure if i check my card its probly got fraudlent charges.HOW CAN MYLIFE>COM advertise on T.V.??? And why isn:t he shut down.???And how does the CEO sleep at night defrauding, not providing services that the claim are propived.I can"t afford a 179.00 charge. And then get nothing in return.I almost feel sorry for the CEO he must of had a bad up bring if this is how he turned out.defrauding and misleading thousands of unexpected vimits. And yes were all VITIMS!!! Why punish thousands cause you don"t understand how to be a decent human being. How can you honestly walk in this world???Well you will meet your maker someday.I just feel ashamed and embrassed to have got involved with the likes of you.Just like you to know when your out spending my money think about this you took our food money. So sleep on that. Some of us have to work!!! were not all CON ARTIST!!! I hope they shut you down before there:s anymore vitims.

Sucker born every minute
As PT Barney once said, there is a sucker born every minute. Now I've lived 66 years and thought I'd managered to get around most of them but this new one from "My Life" beats all. It sounded intriqueing as I was told that five WOMEN were searching for me. Another come on and I plain ignorned it. Saw a price of $9.95 to find out who they were so went ahead and filled out the credit card info request only I use a debit card so a quick look at my bank saw a charge for $119.40 that I did not authoriz. A quck call (the very net morning) explaining that I did not want the service and never sawa charge for $119.40. I was informed that the prices are clearly indicated at $9.95 per MONTH with a one-year contract. Raised holy hell only to get hung up on. Placed a second call that seemed to be going better until I asked if this was a scan. Instantly hung up on. 3rd call did offer some form of relief. A $77.00 credit to my credit card but I'm suck with a non-renewable 90 account that I have no intention of using at those five WOMEN turned out to be men in states that I've never lived in.

Service at My Life is non existent as the wait time for my three calls was almost two hours.

people
Yes it is a rotten thing to do, but the government can not protect people from stupidity. There are plenty of warnings out there, from news shows to internet informing people of email, phone and web scams. NO ONE gets my debit information. Anything I want online is charged on an amount limited visa gift card. Don't blame the government. If you buy a TV that doesn't live up to your expectations it isn't the stores fault that you didn't understand what 1080 is from LCD. Educate yourselves. Protect yourselves. And for God sakes stop dumbing
yourselves down with the atrocious grammar and punctuation!

Scamming mylife.com
We don't know if these positive comments are from mylife.com owners or employees. What I do suggest is that maybe if you have information on this site register again with different information. Disinformation is the best policy. Change your birth date, town you live in, phone numbers marital status, make up names of relatives etc. Inundate them with disinformation to make their information incorrect. It may also protect you against identify theft. Any reputable company will get your information from you as an individual rather than a site like classmates, mylife, reunion etc. Good luck.

Scam
This website lures you in based on false information that they have information about people that are searching for you. Their registration and subscription system is misleading and tricks you into a long term subscription by calling it a "monthly Subscription" but bills you for an entire year. They offer no refunds on subscriptions ...this should be a big tell in itself ... but it is difficult to find this info until its too late!
They are a complete scam ...they tell you there are 10 people searching for you but in reality there are likely none... I am not sure how they have been able to operate this long ...not they were formally known as reunion.com but apparently shut down due to unethical practices... here they go again ... Please do not fall for this Scam as I did!!

Privacy
I recently found my name on MyLife, , I have never signed up for an account. Yet they list my name, , , my wifes name, he relatives and worse our home address, right down to the city, street and number.
This invasion of peoples privacy is dangerous and should be made illegal. This is a very unethical and unsavory business.

Totally bogus
After multiple solicitations from this company, including complete information about anyone who might be looking for me {I was told 128 people were trying to find me} I gave in and submitted a one month membership.

Well, Joe Shmo was one of the people, as well as many people with my same name. No one meaningful in any way ran a search for me. Not only that but the info provided is largely links to other sites that want me to pay for their information. So, first you're enticed to join on false promises, and then they have the nerve to enroll you in an automatic monthly membership that they will collect with no renewal permission from you. This site is the worst. Don't waste your money.
