Beware of this company and its tricks
After I submitted my billing information to iTunes, a new screen appeared requesting my billing info. I thought that something was wrong with my billing info I entered before and reentered the data. At the end of the transaction I was informed that I had just purchased a "membership" for software from MYMP3LIVE.COM - a company I had never heard of.

I called my credit card company right away but it was too late to stop the transaction. I am disputing the charge with this company now. They took $54.96 out of my account, and refuse to credit the money back.

They have no phone number on their website, and it's difficult to reach them.

The way their customer acquisition system is set up is very deceptive. Please beware of this company and its tricks!

94.78 down the toilet!
My wife and I had purchased a three year membership to this mp3 .com to download music and videos and none of it works at all. Of course you only find that out after your credit card is debited. Now what? Thats 94.78 down the toilet.

Software download does not work, unable to contact customer service
tried to download software to transfer music to my mp3 player just like many others I assumed I was on Apple itunes site but was not. They offered 2 week trial & if satisfied they would bill me $52.00 .

I was unable to contact customer service via website or by phone. I paid by credit card & I am in the dispute claim stage to get my money back working with my credit card Co. I have all e-mail confirmations & attempted contact dates being submitted to my credit card Co.

Unauthorized charges
I was trying to buy a subscription to an audio downloading service but got charged almost double for what I had I had agreed to. Cannot track down the site now.

Internet fraud / iTunes deception
I was purchasing an Itunes gift certificate and after posting my billing information a new billing screen came up and I re-entered my information. At the end of the transaction I was informed I had purchased a "membership" for software and the charge would appear on my credit card as MYMP3LIVE.COM, a company I had never heard of.

I knew instantly something was wrong. I canceled my credit card and am in the process of trying to get a full refund from this company.

There are of course no phone numbers or ways to reach this company except through an email to customer service. I requested a refund and got an email back that you are unable to reply to, stating all the reasons I should not cancel my membership (that I was deceived into getting) and that if I did cancel they would charge me a $14.95 US service fee. I have contacted my credit card company who informed me there were many other similar complaints about this company and that MYMPCLIVE.COM had authorized a charge of over $90 to my credit card. You need to provide the credit card company with your request for a refund in writing.

I am not the kind of person who lets things like this go so I would appreciate any other avenues people could suggest that I try to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.

Deceptive practices
I was looking for a site to download ITunes. Somehow stumbled into the above mentioned website. Signed up to download ITunes and WHAM, $50.82 later, I have products I don't want or need. I immediately realized that I have been deceived and e-mail to get a refund. They offer some money back, but i want it all back. This company should not profit due to their deceptive marketing. Their phone numbers don't work. This will be fun...

Scam
My daughter attempted on Christmas Day to download ITunes for her new IPod. She got to this company instead. My credit card shows a phone number of 1-888-448-6889. The billing portion does not work, however the tech suport portion does. She purchased access to download programs which already exist for free such as Ad-Aware, Windows Media Players, AVG Antivirus. She also purchased tech support for 3 years which includes online and phone support (9-5 EST every day). The company has a policy that after 7 days there are no refunds.

Go to a site called marketbill.com, enter your email and the last four digits of the credit card that you used and you can get a copy of your receipt which then contains your login information. You get your account information also. What is scary is that my daughter says she doesn't remember anything about setting up a password and her account number includes part of her Social Security numer. Also, the day she did it, there are no confirming emails.

For the past three days including this morning, the website
ip-mymp3live.com came up to this and another complaint board. Right now (5 p.m. CST) the site come up to a portal which I could not access anything off of.

The IP address of her order confirmation number (which does not match the reference number on my credit card) is 70.241.5.203 .

Charged for the wrong thing!
I was downloading MusicMatch Jukebox and ended up with a 78 dollar charge to my bank for the MyMP3Live. I e-mailed them and told them I did not want this and to cancel the same day. I can not get to the web site and log in and I still am being charged I cannot connect to them I cannot find a phone number or a place to complain.

Internet fraud
I wanted to download kazaa. I clicked on the download icon, the subscription page that came up, said I could get 2 years membership for 99p per month. I thought this was reasonable so I excepted, went through the procedure at the end of which I ended up on a page that said I had been charged ?23 but made no sense to me compared with what I had expected, it certainly was not kazaa.

My computer then started installing something but then just stopped. I could not find what was attempting to install so I thought my request had simply been rejected.I thought no more about it as I didn't really mind not spending the money.

The next thing I know is that 63.77 had been taken from my bank account by a company I had never heard of, after investigating I discovered the money had been taken by MYMP3LIVE.COM and that I had elected to subscribe to extras which I did not. I then sent them an e-mail through their support link, stating that I wanted my money back as a matter of urgency as I certainly could not afford this amount, to which I've had no reply.

I've also rang my bank, but was informed that because I had used a debit card, I had virtually no chance of getting my money back, because it was my money, but if I had used a credit card then that would have been the banks money and they would be more successful in retrieving their money.

I have since tried to go back through the same support link on their web page and it is now coming up with an invalid site request. I now do not know what to do, but certainly know I am in debt, as I did not have enough money to pay for a direct debit which had been due to be taken before I had discovered what these people had done and they cannot be allowed to get away with this robbing people!!!

If anyone has any suggestions as to where I go from here or can help in any way. PLEASE, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
