I received an email about a business opportunity, which i replied to over curiosity. Later a chap from the US in Arizona called me, and i had to listen to an audio tape over the telephone about the business, then the chap came back and spoke to me about it saying how great it was...BUT i'am always skeptical when people ask for you to make a commitment, there and then, and asking for your credit card details. I said i wanted to check things out, and if all was OK i may of been interested, he wasn't keen for me to do this and said i should start straight away and pay up. Well i persevered and said i'd think about it, as if they were genuine, what difference does a day make. Glad i did, because my checks led me to this site and others with complaints.
My advice NEVER EVER give people you don't know over the internet money for something, if you have the slightest doubt about, and don't be pressurised by these smooth talking scammers. Be polite and put the phone down, you'll feel much better afterwards.
