I rented a 3 BR unit from this company in Feb & paid in full by May to stay the month of Sept.
3pm Aug 31 I receive a phone call that my unit is No longer available, the owner has pulled it, and they have No 3 BR. They can give me a 2 for $25 less for the month.
Of course having planed this for so long and the fact that I was packed and ready to go, we went.
Upon arival, I expressed my complaint and basically the manager in charge told me I should not have come and they would have issued me a refund. No dinner passes or show passes to say sorry, just You should have stayed home.
The unit was less than standard. We have stayed in the Resort 5 other times with great units. Kitchen below dorm room standards. Living room had 19" TV.
We waited all year for this MONTH OFF.
We should have been compensated like the owner if we would have canceled the day before arrival. $200. deposit gone
and the $30. fee from the agency. The
manager at the rental office told me that was not going to happen.
