Rude and Unprofessional Associate
My husband and I have been tenants of a commercial building for close to eight years. Our landlord has always been kind and understanding; a little slow on repairs but he eventually comes through or we have it take care of and reduced from the rent. We have never had any issues with any of the other tenants until about two years ago. The newest tenant did not like the fact that we had another business similiar to his so he started creating problems, which we try to ignore and have succeeded thus far. Its a long story. Our landlord hired a property manager who we thought was professional. We explained our side of the story because the tenant who has a personal issue with us. We never bothered our landlord in regards to the other tenant because again, we felt that it was a personal issue that he needed to care of himself. Well, the property manager offered us to call her whenever we had concerns, questions or issues - it was an empty offer! I called her and her reply was less than professional "I don't have to explain myself to you". She claims that I insinuated that I called her a liar, but if the shoe fits, then wear it! As a professional representing her company, she failed to listen to tenant, failed to work on the best interest of her client, takes things personal (which you can't in a business) and is unfair in making judgements. I reacted to her comment but I apologized. I called her that day, she didn't answer nor did she return my phone call. I don't understand how such a big corporation hire people that lack professionalism. I finally called her again, but it's impossible to speak to her. It is unexcusable property manager behavior!
