Dear past and future customers of Nancy Petshack Chihuahuas! This was my honest and true experience with Ms Nancy and her shop!
I bought a puppy from her a couple of months ago, the first time we visited my baby was only 4 days old. My husband fell in love with her at first sight, but were shocked about the condition of ms nancys "shop". She keeps around 15-20 exotic parrots in the front of ther store (very filthy), the 5+wks old babies were all located in her grooming part. And she keeps the little babies in the back. According to her website, she is a cagefree breeder, but when we walked in there is about 5-10 cages set up in the salon part to keep mothers in heat locked up from the boys.. also it is very dirty there. Her dogs are supposed to be "litterbox" trained but they poop all over the place. They pee on their toys and just at everything... ( when looking at pictures on her website, u cant unfortunately see it) but i have been there about 7-8 times now and my husband and i are usually not very picky, and we were so dirty, that my husband took his clothes off infront of our housedoor after coming home from her. My first puppy was healthy, however she made us take her home at 6 wks old...
After a couple of months of having my little girl, i decided to go back to visit her and have my babygirl play with some of the other puppies. I really fell in love that day with a long coat boy, but wasnt really sure, if i should take him home... Ms Nancy said "take him home today, if ur husband is not ok with him or u guys decide different, u can bring him back tomorrow". i paid 100 dollars deposit. The minute we arrived at home, he started very runny and bloody diareha until late night, and i had to get up with him 4 times that night, because he coulndt hold it... i took him to the vet right the next morning. My vet told me, that he might be very sick or might just have a parasite infection. Usually they dont have that bad diareha the day they get home. I had them do a parvo test and it was negative and decided to bring him back to ms nancy, since i didnt want to spend a fortune for a expensive puppy that i just got the day before. She was not very happy about me bringing him back at all, and refunded me 50 dollars of my deposit. I didnt complain.

A couple of months have passed now, and i saw on her website, that another little merle ( looks just like my other baby girl) became available, she was supposed to go to a breeder. So i told her, i pick her up the next day. Her condition was horrific, she was so flea infested ( according to ms nancy " she groomed 7 flea infested pomeranians the day before and now all her 30+dogs have fleas) and she was missing hair on her neck with a scab on it. She was so dirty, my hands felt sticky after touching her. Ms Nancy told me she was 8wks old, but i saw on her website that they were born and she posted pics on 4April. So she was only 6 wks as well. One week after she was home with us, she started extremely bloody diareha and i waited 3 days to see if it would stop but it only became worse. My vet did a stool sample and diagonsed her with avanced giardia and coccidia and blamed it on the breeder. I informed ms nancy about it, and all she did was sending me research websites to look stuff up myself on how she might have got it. She also said, that my baby already had it before she left her, because she treated them with Panacur... but then later on, when i made my experience public, will not admit to it anymore. the reason i know she already had it is, from the time my baby was infested with giardia, it takes a dogs body 13 days to process it. She showed symptoms, bloody diareha after 7 days exactly which means she already had it before..

After all this trouble with her, Ms Nancy broke up contact with me.

I started doing more research into her business and found many other complaints and even called a private investigator for animal cruelty for Columbia, and he said, he was very familiar with the situation and the condition of her dogs and puppies.

I found out, that she breeds some of her rescue dogs and sells all of them as purebred chihuahuas with papers...None of her puppies are vet checked or even her other dogs.
She has groom dogs, that come into her shop and in contact with her puppies ( since she keeps her puppies right in her groom shop, like my little baby) and has no assurance, that these dogs are not sick!
And then sells these puppies without taking them to the vet before...

I know that probably nothing is going to happen to stop her. I know, i am contributing to her puppymill in buying "almsot" 3 puppies from her, but everytime i went there, i felt so sorry for these poor babies, that i just couldnt leave them with her.

I didnt ask her for any of my money back, all i want is people to know the truth about her. It might not stop them buying from her, since they will probably feel very sorry for these animals as well.
But i felt like, somebody needed to say simply the truth and this was my experience!
