I am a long time MUMBAI based post paid customer of AIRTEL (about 5 years). Since I am a businessman and I travel a lot, I have my national roaming activation on for the past several years.
For the second time this year, AIRTEL have deactivated my national roaming facility, without my request or any intimation from them to me.
I reached Bangalore yesterday night only to find that my national roaming facility was being denied access. Immediately I made a complaint yesterday night to AIRTEL to do the needful and activate my account at the earliest. I was assured the same within 4 hours of my complain. Nothing happened even after 15 hours. I again made a complaint today morning and the same assurance was given. NOTHING happened. I again made a complaint for the third time and the same assurance. I am frustated. Even after 24 hours after my arrival in Bangalore and after several complaints and even STD Calls to MUMBAI at my cost for complaints, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
Will AIRTEL bear all the STD charges as well as my business losses?
I would like to have a confirmed reply from a SENIOR RESPONSIBLE OFFICIAL of AIRTEL.
