We are at our Wits end...

For the last few weeks we have received phone calls from a man who claims to be Bennet Hernandez (very bad english) working for the law firm of Crime Monitor Division (cant find anything with this name on an internet search)
Mr. Hernandez is very threatening in his calls, saying my husband will be arrested if he does not pay an ammount which he will not specify.

He has told me that the call is being federally recorded for use in a court house

He claims my husband made a Payday Loan in Nov 2008 at an National Payday Advance company and never paid it back and that it is illegal activity. "May God be with us if we dont pay."

These last 2 days the calls have increased immensly. 4 calls to our home yesterday and 2 to my husbands work. He tells my husbands employees the same things he tells us.

He has my husbands last four digits, his work and home number and his parents 1st names.

He Tells us to call 1 7273621243 xt 70027 with a legal representative or my husband will be jailed. He said Law enforcement officials were on their way to arrest my husband, even as I was on the phone with our local poice on the other line.

We have been told by the cable company there is nothing they can do but change our number (we have had it for 10 years) and the law can only take a report.

Today thus far we have gotten 2 calls at home and one at my husbands work.

I am in tears as I write this, I know that the FTC and other federal agencies will never investigate this...they have bigger things to do. We have a young son who has heard these phone messages and heard me talking with this horrible man on the phone, now my son is frightened that his dad will be carted away. Please can anyone help us?
