I recently started receiving calls from 714 598-4241, the most recent from a heavily accented man by the name of David Richards, who states, I owe for a loan that I took out Nov. 2008 for $500, to National Advance payDay loan. I explained to him, I have never heard of this company! I checked my bank statments and there is no deposit for $500 in my account during the month of Nov 2008. I explained this to the guy, but he threathend me with wage garnishment and judgments. I request he send my something in writing. He stated this was a paperless contract. ( no such thing, you can still print whatever information was exchanged, even if you print your name and check the (X) to confirm you agreed, to seal the contract), which this is not the case with me, in regards to this so called company. He stated they sent something to my email, which the email that they are using is no longer accessible by me, and I'm sure the emails are going back to them. I gave them no other information to match with there records, other than my residence address. I didnot devulge my entire Social Security number or confirm my bank account number.
